The layout of the house was perfect for our group. We had several from ages 18-26. They took over the downstairs and had a great time at the pool table.

Great views, location

We loved the views from the deck and the convenience to GSMNP hikes like Grotto and Rainbow Falls. Would stay here again on future trips to Gatlinburg.

Family vacation

Wonderful cabin! Super nice host! The only thing is the cabin was not as clean as expected. Its ok though, not the host fault! They even had the cleaners come back out to re mop the floors! Would definitely stay here again. We lovesd it.

Spring Break 2025

We really enjoyed our stay! The house is set up nicely for multiple families. The view is amazing and the kids loved the games and hot tub. We even saw some bears in the neighborhood! We had a great time!

Closer to Home

It snowed and we went downtown and while we were out it started sleeting and ice so when we started back up the mt. We couldn’t drive up to the top so we left our cars and walked up to the top of mountain on sleet and snow which was as high as you could go and my husband and I are 82 and 86 but we made it with our family!! That was an experience we will never forget!

Great cabin with views

We had a great stay at this cabin. Great views and many things to keep entertained. The location is perfect and just 8 minutes from downtown Gatlinburg.

Anyone going to Gatlinburg must stay at Closer to home. Beautiful cabin at the top of the mountain overlooking Gatlinburg. Close to everything. We have been there 2 times and will go again. The Host is absolutely amazing.

On top of the mountain

The house was perfectly set up for our group with 2 bedrooms upstairs and 2 bedrooms downstairs with a living area and of course, the pool table. The kids had their own space. It was nice to have bathrooms next to each bedroom. The sunsets were amazing! The location was very convenient to the places we visited. We enjoyed Dollywood and Anakeesta, but don't go during spring break! It was totally crowded with very long wait lines. Communications with the owners were easy and timely. My only recommendation would be to increase the lighting in the kitchen/living area upstairs.

Nice cabin

The cabin was nice and clean, the view was amazing. I am not giving 5 star for couple of reasons 1. The amenities has “Grilled” mentioned but they should clearly mention it as charcoal grill not propane/gas. We took the charcoal as they didn’t provide it (usually properly owner provides propane/gas) but our attempt to grill on charcoal failed as the grill was outside the cabin and little cold, we lost 2 hours in burning charcoal and couldn’t cook as well. 2. The standing shower was very tiny in 2 bedrooms which has queen beds, it was very hard to stand and took shower.

The view is just awesome

3 generations of woman from my family celebrated our 25th of getting together in the Gatlinburg area, the cabin is in a very well kept neighborhood & the view from the cabin is amazing.

Great Cousins Trip

The cabin was very clean and well stocked. It was a great space and lay out for 13 people. We had a couple of mishaps that were outside of the property management’s control (power outage) but they were quick to respond with help. The location is far enough away from the main strip of Gatlinburg that it’s peaceful but close enough that getting to the shops and activities were easily accessible. The only suggestions we have are to have a few extra towels for large groups and to consider getting sheets that are a little softer. Overall, we had a great time and would definitely stay here again!
