Stayed here with my friend in September had an amazing time the host was very nice and accommodating, there was lots to do around this area. Would definitely recommend.

Cozy!

Great little place! Right across the street from the river. The town was nice as well. And the food at some of the local restaurants is amazing!

it is an older bldging so it is a work in progress, however, the owner was very quick to respond to a problem with the bed and was resolved satisfactory which showed to me he values his clients and wants them to be happy. I am staying in the same place in two weeks and to be located above a very good and friendly coffee shop is a bonus!

New Richmon Adventure.

Nice facility with a great location. Stairs can be a chalange for older guests. Decoration were excellent and made it feeL like home. Main double bed sagged to the middle and wife slept on the couch.

Cute Apartment

Great location across the street from a park and the Ohio River. Restaurants are within walking distance and the apartment is above a coffee shop. The property manager was very responsive. Note that this unit is on the second floor with no elevator.

Nephew Visit

Overall the property was very good, clean and comfortable. The rear step entry needs more lighting at night, the sensor light by the door was not working. To be safer for older visitors, grab bars for toilet and shower would be very good. Good instructions for operating the TV would be helpful. All that could be accessed was Roku, which not provide any local channels. 5 controllers, but only one worked. Overall enjoyed our stay and would stay again if the opportunity arises. It was a good value for the price.

Left early

I was unable to stay both nights I booked because the first evening resulted in the bed collapsing. I sat on the bed and it broke. It was basically a mattress on a piece of plywood held up by thin wood slats. I contacted the owner and requested a refund and was told they needed to investigate. My emails since then have been ignored. Also while not a deal breaker for me the back stair entrance had one step on the staircase that was pitched forward which made for a precious entry when carrying luggage. The location was good and the place was fairly clean but I feel like if I have to sleep on the floor or make other arrangements the rest doesn’t matter much.

Lovely town

The space was nice and everything but the bed needs a new mattress. It has a pillow topper but the mattress dips so that the sides are higher and you lean towards the center. If you don't have to share the bed, then no problem. I admit, I sleep near the edge of the bed and I'm a side sleeper. Other than this, everything else is great. I would suggest to the owner to remove the AC in the bedroom because the one in the living room is sufficient for the whole space and there's a ceiling fan that works great, then put black out curtains over the window to block out the bright street lights.

No River View

NO VIEW OF RIVER. I made the assumption from the photos of the outside of the building that the windows faced the river. Once inside, we discovered that there are 2 rental units & we had the back one. The back unit does NOT have a functioning window (the one in the bedroom had an AC unit) & the front door is also NOT equipped for fresh air. Our view was a parking lot. Bed NEEDS REPLACED ASAP. My back went out the 1st night & my wife's hop was sore the entire weekend. The owner noted he is in the process of replacing it...you've been warned, it sags in the middle. Rental unit was clean & communication with Joe is very good. As long as you are spending most of the day out of the unit, the views of the river from the park were very nice.
