Everything was very nice. Directly accross the street from the beach, we were able to order in and food delivered quickly. Home was cozy and had everything we needed in the home and for all day at the beach. Shopping and food within walking distance. Grilled out, played games, and watched movies. Great time with family. Host was very nice and always responsive. We would love to stay here again.

Family stay in VA

This house is very cute. Kitchen and bathrooms are nice, and owner is nice. Our biggest issue was that the home was not clean. There were dirty sheets on the beds, coffee in the coffee pot, dirty towels in the washing machine, and a portable hospital toilet in the downstairs shower. When we arrived, the heat did not work. Kim was very responsive and got it fixed right away. The outside garbage cans were extremely full and there were a couple of cockroaches. Several lights were missing bulbs and we couldn't turn one on. There were old appliances (washer and dryer) tossed at the end of the driveway, and the outdoor shower for washing our feet off was inoperable. The front door was unable to be opened from inside but also unlockable, a serious safety issue. This is the only time in many years of using VRBO that I have had less than an outstanding experience. I recommended to the owner that she communicate with her cleaning company.

Hello Dawn When you first arrived I have noticed what you say is and I have talked to the cleaning company evidently this is not the one I always have and so that really out of my control but however I appreciate it that you honestly put the reviews but I promise you this not happen all the time it just happened and handyman sometimes you can get them right away hi I'm very sorry and please accept my apologies

Great location

Property was in a great location, close to the beach. The house was cute and we had plenty of room. The house contained everything we needed for comfort and beach fun. It is on a very busy street and is rather loud at night. The host responded promptly to all our questions.

Beach stay

Kim was there for any questions we had, and the home was super cute. We had a good time. The only thing I would say is that if you are a light sleeper, there is plenty of traffic noise, as it is on a busy street. No complaints than that.

The property needs updating. The outside doesn’t match pictures. Someone was already there. Host was unresponsive to calls, emails, and texts. Host did not answer for Vrbo either. Probably double booked. The next day host stated no one contacted her and said no one should have been there and asked me to change my cancellation so she did not have a poor rating. The door code worked but there were personal belongings everywhere and the property was not cleaned. We had no where to stay after driving 10 hours.
