The pictures did not match the house- one major plus was that it was more spacious than I expected, larger dining table that pictured. There were many other things that didn’t match. The biggest difference was the set up in the bedrooms - 2 twin beds in one of the rooms instead of what was on listing - we made due. The house itself had lots of potential and could benefit from updated decor and amenities - more and nicer towels and blankets would be appreciated. There was some items that we’ve come to expect in the rentals nowadays including shampoo and conditioner, coffee, some condiments, at least to get started… but nothing. We ended up deciding not to cook at all on the house because of the condition of the pots and pans, some were blackened and on others the coating was peeling. The one TV of the house did not work, it was very slow so it took patience to log into, only to be logged out every 5 minutes. We planned one night in to watch movies and after many attempts, we gave up. I reached out to owners about TV, I figured this would be an easy fix but after trying their recommendations we stopped trying to watch TV altogether. The outside space should be cleaned up, lots of clutter along the sides which takes away from the space. One additional item that was missing was detergent for the washer and dryer, which could be considered an extra perk, but one of the requirements for checking out was to wash towels before leaving. The location was easy access to the naval base.
