Dangerous area - horrible experience
We understand that the surrounding area can not be controlled by the property owner, however our trip started with us pulling into an awkward driveway that is situated too close to the house making it impossible to open the door. The driveway and front yard had a bunch of trash including dirty undergarments, used needles and food wrappers. The porch smelled of urine, the windows were open and unlocked and the screens were cut.. we called the owner and told them our concerns and the only thing offered was having his yard guy come and remove the trash. One of my guests was outside and a person from across the street came over and asked for money and cigarettes while fondling himself. We had 2 elderly ladies in our group and they were very scared. None of us felt safe so we called the host and told him we would not be staying there and after that he would not return our calls or messages. I had to spend an additional 1000.00 getting a hotel and wasted a day of our vacation.
