There are two kitchens and a backyard grill, because let's be honest: some of the best memories happen over food. But if you’re not looking to cook, you’re in luck—we’re also just a short walk from some of Omaha’s best local restaurants, coffee shops, and neighborhood bars.
The house includes:
A cozy backyard with a bonfire pit
Two living rooms for games or late-night hangs
A curated collection of art books and a record player
Board games, yard games, and space to sprawl

Hi, I’m Phia! I’m an artist and community-builder, and this is actually my home. I rent it out during special events like the College World Series to help fund future art shows, workshops, and projects that bring people together. Hosting is one way I get to share this space with others and keep the creative energy flowing. Whether you’re here for baseball or just passing through, I hope it feels like a place where you can unwind, connect, and make great memories.

I chose this neighborhood because it’s full of character and creative energy. It's nestled right between downtown (1 mile north), Little Bohemia (0.3 miles east), a DIY skate park (2 blocks west), and my favorite art gallery and monthly art walk (0.5 miles south). It’s a diverse, welcoming area with multigenerational families, immigrant neighbors, and local architects breathing new life into historic homes. I’m also a member of a nearby public garden just a mile away—it’s one of my favorite places to walk. I can bike almost everywhere, and this neighborhood continues to surprise and inspire me every day.

This house was built over 100 years ago by a local doctor who lived here with his seven children. He was Omaha’s version of Patch Adams—he had his medical practice downstairs, delivered babies, performed surgeries, and also conducted music and played in bands. That mix of creativity and care is baked into the walls. Now, the house is home to concerts, pop-up art shows, workshops, and visiting artists. From the layered history to the community events it now hosts, the space holds a unique blend of purpose and play. It’s not just a place to stay—it’s part of a living, evolving story.
