The property was like staying in a treehouse everywhere you looked out all you saw was beautiful trees. Serendipity is a perfect name for it. There were multiple gorgeous beaches within walking distance of the cabin and the state Park Beach is a quick drive down the road. If you’d like to shop, both downtown in East Tawas have lots of nice little souvenir places to check out. Tawas isn’t really a rock collecting area, but if you look carefully in the sea walls, all around town, there are tons of fossils. There are even fossils in the fire pit of the property!!!! The property was furnished beautifully and had anything you could think you might need for a stay up north. The three cozy bedrooms would be perfect for a small family. There’s also plenty of space to hang out in the cabin on a rainy day. If you’re like me, and need to telecommute during your stay, the Internet was blazing fast! The neighborhood is perfect for long walks! My dogs loved checking out all the sniffs. I don’t think we went on the same walk twice over a week’s stay.We really enjoyed our stay at Serendipity!
