We had a wonderful stay at this property. The house was lovely, spotless, and fully stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable visit. The hot tub was a highlight—clean, relaxing, and perfect after long days out. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful, yet still conveniently close to Main Street, making it easy to get to shops, restaurants, and activities. Overall, it was the perfect home base and we’d happily stay here again.

Came to Fredericksburg with 3 adults and 3 kids. The house was a perfect size - plenty of indoor space for all to gather and lots of outdoor area for the kids to play. Just minutes from downtown shopping and dining. Beds and furniture were very comfortable, and a second rolling TV especially useful. We’ll be back!

Short Getaway

Cute older house in a very quiet neighborhood. Easy parking. Enjoyed morning coffee in backyard. Everyone slept great - good mattresses, pillows, linens. Suggestion: add a hand grip or rail on front porch to assist with mobility issues. I also recommend one in at least one of the bath tub showers. Overall, we will consider booking here again.

Homey and Cozy

The short version: Haven Haus is adorable and perfect home base for a visit to historic Fredericksburg. I will stay here again! The Long Version: The home is a peaceful retreat. The thoughtful decor creates a sense of balance and is an oasis on the hotter than hot summer in Texas. Only 6 blocks from Main Street, it is about a 5 minute drive from any of the shops, restaurants and tasting rooms. It is too far to walk in the summer heat, but would be comfortable in the spring or fall. The neighborhood is quiet and filled with mature shade trees. There are plenty of sitting areas in the home. A cozy family room, dining room, enclosed patio, two seating spaces in the generous back yard. We enjoyed breakfast in the enclosed patio. It is bright and cheery plus has an AC unit for hot days. The Three bedrooms ( 2 Q, 2 Twin beds) have super comfy mattresses and bedding. We slept well. My daughter loved the Queen bedroom at the back of the house. It has its own sitting area, TV, and walkout access to the back yard. The closets have a good amount of storage. The kitchen has everything you need. There is a full size washer/drawer. The home, like many in FBG, older homes has charm and quirks. When the home is quiet, you can hear the climate system and some floor creaks. There are steps down to the back bedroom, laundry room and the back yard. The decor is simple, not fussy. Families with any ages would like Haven Haus.
