Long weekend away

My husband, dog and I had a great stay. The room was exactly what we needed and located in a great area walking distance to the beach and so many restaurants and shops. We really enjoyed our stay!

Stay on the downtown beach

We are out of our home due to flood rebuild but found ourselves in a cute bungalow right off the beach and in the middle of fun activities and great food.

Great location

Cottage was definitely perfect for the beach, parked my truck and did not crank it up until I left to go back home, everything within walking distance and Flagler Beach is also one the best places to travel to with your dog, and the host lived up to premium status

Great spot

Clean, cute and comfortable. So close to the beach you can hear the waves. Walking distance to restaurants and shops. Just as described. We enjoyed our stay.

Great Weekend Getaway

The place was centrally locate that you could park and walk to about anything you may want. Will stay again but will try and book the ocean view room 2nd story just because of the view. The place was quiet even with music from Finn’s you could not hear it when inside our room.

Great location!!!

This location is unbeatable. The personal note from property Ownets…that was left with a bottle of wine, and two glasses was hands-down, one of the nicest things that we’ve experienced on our trips through VRBO. It happened to be my husband’s 60th birthday so it was made to be incredible!

Fun three day weekend escape to the beach

My wife and I stayed here for our Anniversary and we had a wonderful time! We brought our 2 dogs and the entire area is extremely dog friendly!! We watched a dog surfing contest lol The cottage was very clean and quaint. The location is fabulous… less than a block from the beach and near all restaurants. We will return for sure!

Second Time Around - Great Experience!

This is our second visit to the Sea Oats in Flagler Beach. Andres is welcoming and makes us feel at home. The studio is cute, and comfortable and has everything you need. The beach is so close and enjoyable, never crowded. We are ready to come back, again and again. Thanks again!

AWESOME PLACE

Casa de Playa is everything you want at the beach. Andes made check in easy, and helped with any questions. The unit is exactly what you see. A studio with everything you need for a beach visit. The amenities are spot on...coffee maker, TV, fridge, stove etc There was a personalized note and a bottle of wine waiting for us. Great spot block from the beach. Highly recommend, would stay again!

A nice retreat

I stayed in the Sea Oats cottage with my two dogs and found it delightful. The open layout of the studio with a complete kitchen made everything easy. The one improvement I would suggest is a dolly onsite as the parking for my unit was far enough away that carrying heavy dog crates was an inconvenience. But all in all I would definitely recommend this rental : the beach is just a block away , there are food places very near including a coffee and do it shop, and the a/c is ice cold.

I would recommend staying at Sea Oats to anyone and everyone.

Sea oats is the perfect little getaway studio. The cottages it’s surrounded by make coming home so peaceful. Not to mention there is the best donuts right across the way. I can’t wait to come back and stay in another one of the villas.

My partner and I fell in love with Flagler Beach over 30 years ago, and bought this property in 2003 while we were both teaching in Gainesville, FL. We have been remodeling this five cottage complex over the past few years and have four units ready for vacation rental now in this complex and two units elsewhere in Flagler Beach. We have been offering vacation rentals in Flagler Beach since 2001. We now live in Miami Springs, and plan to retire in Flagler Beach in the future. I welcome your inquiries through this website, or by phone, or e-mail. I will respond quickly. Although we no longer live close to Flagler Beach, we visit often, and we have a local caretaker who attends to maintenance of the property and to the needs of our guests.

This studio is one of five cottages in a complex of a duplex and a triplex. It is centrally located with the beach a short half block away; and most restaurants, bars, and shops within walking distance. This unit is one block from Moody Blvd, the main street in Flagler Beach, and two blocks to the famous Flagler Beach Pier.

The most attractive aspect of Flagler Beach is its peacefulness and small beach community charm. There are no franchises on the beach, nor high rises. There are several small local restaurants and cafes with excellent food, a couple of galleries, some nice bars, and a friendly community.
Marineland is 10 minutes north, and Daytona Beach is 20 minutes south. Historic St. Augustine is a half-hour drive away, and Orlando and Disney are within an hour's drive. Major airports are within an hour and a half drive.
The sunrises are fabulous at this time of the year. The beach is less that a block away. The ocean water temperature is cool this time of the year, and the sun is bright and warm. At night sit and contemplate the constellations and the planets from anywhere, the patio, the beach, or walking around the town! This is an ideal place for moon lovers, and star gazers. Fish from the beach, or from the nearby pier. Bring your own bicycle and enjoy riding around this small community! During the winter months Right Whales may show up at the beach, and dolphins are visible year round. If you are planning a family reunion, a wedding, or any type of small group activity, this location could be ideal reserving the whole compound of four cottages and one studio.
