Basement off limits and sorry but our insurance will not allow us to provide access to our water craft. Speak to manager regarding watercraft options.

Beautiful location and views. House was great and property really nice. Kitchen fully stocked and all was great. We were there in the winter so no beach time but i would go back in the summer for the beach access and water fun. Thank you!

Beautiful location! We enjoyed many meals on the deck and spending time on the dock. Great place for a group, very private and lots of space to play.

Perfect stay!

Just what we were looking for as a 3 generation family get away. Right on the ocean, fishing from dock was great, lots to explore for the younger kids with starfish, porpoises, seals, sea cucumbers, anemone and crabs. Highly recommended this location.

Fantastic location, spacious and private feeling property with comfortable dock for swimming and fishing. House had all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay and home cooking. Host was accomodating and responsive to messages.

What a beautiful piece of paradise. Fishing, swimming in a near by lake, hiking, playing games and simply enjoying watching the ocean activities. Boats, birds, seals, schools of fish. Loved it!

We had an amazing time. Mike was so very helpful and accommodating. We had 2 babies on this trip and 2 kids under 10 and they all had a ball. Lots of options for sleeping and so much to do on the property. A glorious time.

great place, Mike supplied us with firewood for a outdoor fire, he had everything we needed, kitchen was great for cooking and entertaining

We just got home from our family vacation at Mike's place. Three generations trying to solidify connection through being together...we enjoyed the dock, the exploration of the waterways, schoocumchuck narrows and local lakes... with a few rope swings. Also loved that we could all sit down to dinner (15 of us) on the lovely deck. Mike was attentive and friendly. Thanks for hosting us!

Beautiful location and view

Great location with beautiful wilderness. Unique house with ocean view. Owner very accommodating. Neat pub nearby and the Skookumchuck Narrows is really close.

Relaxing and fun for all

We had such a great weekend at this property. A gorgeous waterfront location and a big yard out front for kids and dogs to run free. Mike was a fantastic host and helped us with anything we needed. We would happily return to spend more time there.

Amazing cabin on water's edge.

Confortable and functional cabin on the northern tip of sunshine coast. Exceptional host who made our short stay very fun. Great boating fishing and hiking near by. Nice place for 2 to 3 days. Mike went out of his way to get us the most of our two days there. Highly recommend for a family.

Memorable get away

Mike has a great, quiet place with a beautiful view. Property is very well maintained and was everything we expected it to be. We were able to bring our boat with us and tie it to the dock enabling us to explore and fish daily with some great advice from Mike on where to go. I’d absolutely recommend this property to anyone looking for a quiet wilderness getaway

This is a great property. Having access to a private dock is lovely, and the house itself is very cozy. The host was very communicative and easy to reach when needed. It is important to note that the loft bedroom above the kitchen can only be accessed by a ladder hooked onto one of the beams. If you have guests who are not comfortable with heights or have accessibility concerns, this limits your sleeping arrangements. This was fine for us, though, and the other bedrooms were easy to access. Thanks for a lovely stay!

Family get-away

What an amazing place! This home definitely ticked all our boxes; we spent a lot of time just sitting on the front deck watching the ocean and enjoying the beautiful surroundings. We saw heron, seals, starfish, crabs, deer, squirrels, etc. Mike made us feel comfortable and welcome, helping the kids fish from the dock and taking us out for a day on the ocean that we'll never forget!

A gem of a spot

What a perfect rental! The true beauty of the Sunshine Coast is understood fully after a stay at Mike’s rental. The property was well set up for a group, it was private, and Mike made everything easy for us. We brought a boat and it was such a treat to have ocean access from a good dock right on the property. We will be back!

As an early retired police officer, active building contractor, recreational and commercial diver, fisherman, and general all around outdoorsman who has spent most of his life on the West Coast of B.C. I can tell you that this location is one of the most beautiful, accessible and not commercialized areas around which is why we love it and enjoy sharing it with others. The ongoing property transformation from a tiny shack in the bush to a seaside family retreat is a reflection of the love of the area and the feelings we have about family and friends bonding and enjoying the precious recreational time that we all seem to have too little of. We suspect you will agree with our family and leave happier and a little closer too. That is our desire and goal.
