This newly constructed 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom condo, built in 2024, offers guests a stylish and inviting retreat in the heart of newly revitalized downtown Silverthorne. It comfortably sleeps 6 with a king-size bed in the primary suite, a second king-size bed in the guest room, and a queen-size sleeper sofa in the living area. Additional highlights include two indoor tandem garage spaces, an indoor elevator from the garage to the third floor, warm radiant heat floors throughout the space, brand-new furniture, a private balcony overlooking downtown Silverthorne with partial mountain views, an in-unit washer and dryer, and a ski closet in the garage. The Skywalk Flats complex offers guests access to their newly opened Skydeck, which overlooks the 4th Street promenade and is complete with two hot tubs, a lounge area, and panoramic views. Ideally located within walking distance of many shops, restaurants, and bars, while being close to the conveniences of Silverthorne and everything else Summit County has to offer.

As you enter the space, you will find a bench, hooks, and a storage closet for your convenience while coming and going throughout the day. From here, you will find yourself in the open-concept living, kitchen, and dining area. Spread out and relax in the living area by the cozy gas fireplace with a mounted smart TV, or step out onto the private balcony for some fresh air and mountain views. The brand-new furniture offers plenty of seating, and the large windows allow natural light to pour in throughout the day. The queen-sized sleeper sofa is also found in this area. Additional sheets and blankets are in the nearby closet.

Step into the full-sized kitchen equipped with quartz countertops and modern stainless steel appliances. You will find all of the essential cookware and tableware to make a meal away from home. The dining table comfortably seats six with four additional seats at the breakfast bar. Additionally, the full-size stackable washer and dryer are also located in a closet in this area.

The primary suite is just to the left of the living area and features a new king-sized bed, a smart TV, a ceiling fan, and numerous built-in shelves in the closet. The en suite bathroom offers a quartz countertop vanity and a large walk-in shower with a bench. The guest bedroom is just across the living area and features another king-sized bed, a smart TV, a ceiling fan, and plenty of clothing storage. The guest bathroom is located just next to the guest bedroom; it has a private entrance from the guest bedroom and a second entrance from the main living area. It features a shower and bathtub combination plus a beautiful vanity. Both bathrooms are stocked with towels and an initial supply of toiletries.

**Ivory White Bedding** This property has been upgraded with ivory white bedding modeled after high-end hotels and resorts. Enjoy the luxury of a soft, white-striped duvet cover with a medium thick, high quality down alternative duvet. Featuring an uncompromising and industry leading standard of cleanliness, the duvet covers are laundered after each and every guest stay. The entire bed is remade with fresh, white linens for each guest arrival.

Beautiful place with a view of the mountain to die for!!Beds were super comfy. Only issue was we couldn’t figure out how to work the heat and thermostats. I called the property mgmt and they sent someone over and also provided us with space heaters. Maybe a print out on the counter explaining fhe thermostats would be helpful.

Great location

Overall this is a good condo and is as described. It’s great to have covered parking and be downtown. It’s a bit louder than options closer to the river but that’s to be expected. Great proximity to restaurants and the river walk. Unfortunately the dryer was broken (I read this in other reviews) and it was never fixed during our stay.

Covered parking as well. The only item of note is that there is 1 key fob to get into the building. If you have multiple guests staying, that could present an access issue. Wasn't a problem for my stay, so I didn't ask the host for another fob. Would definitely stay again!

The garage door did not work, we could not get in and out of the garage properly had to force the door to close and we’re “required to keep the door closed at all times” it was -15 and the door would take 10-15 minutes to finally get closed. We told the property management and they could care less that it was impacting us. To be brand new it was not something I felt we should have to deal with for a lot per night place. Would not suggest staying as it was also outrageously loud while sleeping as the sound of snow plows sounded like metal trash cans banging around all night as they scraped the roads. If there is no snow you might not have such bad noise but don’t plan on the garage working as other people who lived their told us they have had all kinds of problems and continue not to fix. Don’t do it. Not worth it!

A picture would have been more helpful b/c instructions are complex. It was challenging b/c the garage was broken. The heat would not go up high enough to make it comfortable, and there was only 1 extra blanket. We managed with space heaters left in the place. It would have been nice to have instructions for the thermostat and it was not in farenheit. It would have been nice to have more instructions on how to operate the locks and fob (instructions by the door) for people not used to using electronic gadgets. All in all, it was a beautiful place and a great experience, though.

Great condo, great location, issues with parking

The good: This condo is very large, the beds are comfortable and space was very clean. The location is PERFECT and walking distance to so many things, restaurants, bars, coffee shops, etc. It came with two parking spots in the shared building garage and a parking pass for the public garage. Would definitely stay here again. The fixable: The fire place remote was missing so there way no way to use this, which was a bummer because the apartment was very cold. We could not seem to figure out the heater with Googling. The fire was not fixed during our stay. The garage door remote and codes did not work when we arrived. Eventually we were given a new code but the garage door opener never worked. Quite annoying but not a deal breaker. The condo only has one working key fob, which is quite annoying when we had 4 people staying all doing different things. The passing off of the key fob or running down to let someone in was very frustrating. You could leave it in the lock box but to do so you had to walk to the other side of the shared garage, unlock the door to the elevators, find a way to prop that door open, return to the parking spot, lock the key fob in the lock box and return to the other side of the garage where the elevators are.

Poor property management

A winter storm met us when we arrived in Denver. The roads were pretty bad on our drive to Silverthorne. We just wanted to relax when we arrived at the condo but the garage door opener would not work. After contacting the property manager, no one showed up to assist. Their only suggestion was to park at the complex parking which specifically had signage stating no overnight parking. We took it upon ourselves to gain access to the condo garage through the neighboring garage door. As we pulled into the garage, we would cut across the other unused parking spots to get to our assigned spot. We continued this agonizing process throughout our entire stay since the property manager could never get the issue resolved with the garage door opener. I would not recommend a condo managed by Summit County Mountain Retreats.

Not air conditioned so windows were open all the time and the traffic noise was pretty loud. But we still enjoyed hanging out on the balcony in the evening. My husband's side of the bed (primary) was sunken in so was uncomfortable for him but my side was fine.There is no light for the kitchen table area, which we found strange. The dryer wasn't working and the management did send a guy out ( at dinner time ) to look at it, but would have to be fixed at a later time.The parking garage is great and secure and would be a huge benefit in the winter. All in all, we really did enjoy our stay and loved the location most of all.

Great property, poor management communication

The good: Great location, very clean. Well appointed property. Comfortable beds. Covered parking.The bad: The management team was not at all familiar with the property. They couldn't help us with the entry into the unit when we were having trouble with the electronic access. They kept telling us to use the physical key - which wasn't accurate at all because the key was to the ski storage locker. The locker info wasn't part of the information that was relayed. We were told via text that the locker was 17e. (There was no 17e). We just tried every locker there until we got the key to work on one. We eventually figured out the access to the unit, but had we not we would have had to make other arrangements for the night because it became clear that no one was coming to help. It was chilly in the unit despite the radiant heat being turned up as high as it would go. We asked about the fireplace & we were sent DIY videos for lighting the pilot light of a gas fireplace. Useless because the fireplace had no similarities to the unit in the videos. We were told after the fact that the fireplace was not operational. The hot water was inadequate for multiple guests - the water turned lukewarm within a few minutes. Which wasn't great because the unit was already chilly. The garage floor was very dirty. Huge clods of dirt everywhere. I'm guessing it hadn't been swept since the complex opened. It will be very difficult to keep these new units clean if a filthy garage is the norm.

It’s located in a very convenient part of town given its right off the Main Street in Silverthorne. It did have its issues that I’m hoping will be resolved for future guests. First, despite being a fairly new property, the bedroom light, coffeemaker, and dryer were not working. The noise from the street was also quite loud given its location. While the office staff was nice and responsive, it was clear they had not been to or provide any specific instructions regarding a property. I was sent the incorrect address of the property as a result the check in process took over 40 mins because the office staff didn’t know which lockbox the keys to the unit were located. While the unit itself is very nice, the repairs, noise, and check in process will likely prevent me from staying here again

VACATION RENTALS VS. HOTELS
Booking a vacation rental is like staying at the house of a friend. In this vacation rental you will experience significantly more space, privacy, or comforts that feel like home, including a kitchen and a location that is beyond what most hotels can offer. All this at a significantly lower cost than a hotel with comparable features. These benefits bring different considerations than a hotel. More privacy means that most guests do not want daily housekeeping. We offer a check-out clean and, for an added fee, mid-stay cleans. We also offer a starter supply of some consumables, including coffee, paper towels, toilet paper and more, but these items are not restocked during a stay. A kitchen allows you to make home-cooked meals. Guests will likely visit the store to purchase groceries. Self-sufficiency is key to a happy stay in a vacation rental. We do provide housekeeping and 24/7 maintenance, but this is primarily for properties in between stays. Our staff services vacation rentals across several square miles, unlike a hotel that manages a single building. We have to strike a balance between cost and service, and have found that our current system has struck this balance. Our hope is that our guests understand the difference between booking a hotel and a vacation rental. Together we can provide affordable vacation rentals and happy stays for everyone!
