This quaint property offers resort-style accommodations at an affordable price! Nestled among a colony of freestanding Conch style cottages, amid lush tropical landscaping, sits Island Style, the sister cottage of Hidden Treasure. One of our most popular properties, it was renovated by two fabulously funky sisters who share an affinity for the Key West style. It features all the luxuries expected in high-end vacation rentals: a private bedroom, full gourmet kitchen, living room with queen sleeper sofa, cable TV, a shaded private deck with outdoor dining, and a poolside patio—all at an affordable nightly rate.

This one-bedroom cottage is steps from the shared oasis-style, heated pool. It features a king bed with a TV, a sleeper sofa in the living room, private bath with hair dryer, and lush towels. Completely air conditioned with vaulted ceilings and Bahamian ceiling fans, this unit is perfect for romantic getaways or a carefree time. A full kitchen and dining space for four includes everything a cook desires: stainless refrigerator, dishwasher, Jenn-Air grill top stove, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, blender, crystal glassware, and more.

The property is decorated with a bright Caribbean colors accent and hand-made furniture, all of which are pieces of art from Key West galleries. Honeymooners especially adore Island Style. For romantic evenings, double French doors open onto the private deck with umbrella table, chairs, and lounger. A perfect spot for stargazing or just gazing into each other's eyes while enjoying a fabulous margarita and listening to the faint trickle of nearby fountains.

This property is FANTASTIC, as described online and in photos perfectly. It’s a great location, just steps from Duval (2 blocks). Adorable decor, everything you need in the home, plus a (shared) pool. Definitely planning to return and would 100% stay here again.

Perfect getaway

Everything was perfect! The house, the location, the amenities, exactly perfect. We were just steps away from the pool which we enjoyed everyday. We could walk just about anywhere we wanted too. We will definitely stay here again.

Island Style Truly Was!

Check in was flawless. The conch cottage was decorated just as expected ... Key West Style! I loved it! The only issues were the wifi was not the best and our neighbor behind was very loud at all hours. But hey! We didn't let that slow us down or stop us from enjoying our stay!

Wonderful

It was a wonderful stay. Super cute place and it was so peaceful there and yet so close to everything. There are some things that need fixing. The garbage disposal knob needs fixing as it stuck, the dishwasher needs to be attached and holds water(doesn’t drain) the bottoms of both patio doors should be replaced soon as are rotted and we had several outside visitors including lizards in our bed. We weren’t offended by any of this but just wanted you guys to be aware so the issues could be addressed. Thank you!

EXACTLY as SHOWN/Perfect Property

Furnished as shown, well-kept as shown, updated as shown, great complex as shown. This bungalow was perfection with private outside patio adjoining the lush pool area, immaculate and updated inside. I looked at nearly every place in Key West taking months to decide and this was by far the best choice I could've made, after cruising by the other locations. Comfortable and quiet, yet less than two blocks to Duval. Perfectly placed halfway between the quiet end of Duval and the busy end of Duval. Onsite parking for 4 cars, but we happened to get a spot. Bikes or scooters will serve you well for the entire rest of your stay (or on foot-just not my scene) Missing only a few MINOR (VERY minor) items to put the cherry on top. This was a GREAT STAY and we WILL be back to this complex, this management company and this bungalow!

Cute single level unit

I have mobility issues so this unit was perfect for us. Only two small steps to the private wood patio, large banyan tree does drop a lot of debris on the patio, which had to be swept twice a day. We arrived 2 days after hurricane Ian passed to the west of the island. There was a lot of debris across the complex driveway and the pool was full of debris (we arrived Thursday and the pool wasn't cleaned until Saturday mid-day). Water had come in under the bedroom French doors so the floor was damp and the unit smelled of mildew. There were only 2 wash cloths provided for our 6-day stay, no kitchen trash bags were provided. The unit did have a Keurig, toaster & a reg coffee pot and a blender, which was nice. The fridge was clean and the walk-in shower was wonderful. The bathroom sink space is quite limited, but the vanity had two small drawers for storage and the dresser provided additional space for clothing. Unit needs far more closet hangers, there were only a handful, not enough for two people for 6 days. The keyless entry buttons stuck and were not lit, which made it difficult to get into the unit at times. Unit is super cute and bright, color scheme, furniture and decor were adorable. The kitchen was spacious and well stocked with pots, pans, dishes, cups, etc. Would we stay here again? Maybe. We travelled with a large group, many stayed on the west side of the island and those areas were nicer. We liked that this complex was near the Hemingway House and a block from the cemetery, which are the highest points on the island. We knew we were visiting during hurricane season so that was a factor in choosing this unit as the chance of coastal flooding was significantly reduced. The team at KeyWest Hideaways was friendly and professional and we were able to reach them quickly and easily to get updates after the hurricane passed. Check-in was quick and easy. If you need groceries go to Publix, which is a regular grocery store, the groceries at the smaller nearby markets were very expensive. We didn't rent a car (due to parking limitations on the island) and used Uber to get around and spent far less doing this than the cost of renting a golf cart, car or scooters. The complex does have a few parking spaces that are relatively secure so that was nice. The main entrance to the rear units needs to have a porch light as it also has keyless entry. The complex was nice & quiet.

Fantastic get away

The property location is great. A quiet street away from the craziness of Duval Street but close enough to walk there, many restaurants and waterfront. Rented bikes for the entire week and was able to explore the whole island easily and park! The property is adorable. Loved the keyless access to the common area and cottage. The cottage could use a little updating but clean and comfortable. The kitchen has all you need as most meals are eaten out. But used the coffee maker, microwave and fridge. We had an issue of no water one day. Called management and they responded immediately and resolved the problem ASAP. Never used the pool as it was a little chilly. Great place to stay when visiting Key West.

Short getaway

Booked the Island Cottage at the last minute for a short getaway and we were not disappointed. Cottage is just as represented in the photos and is next to the pool, but we were not disturbed by other guests. Cottage is in a great location and we walked everywhere around Key West. We would stay here again.

Great place, great location, quiet but close enough to the action

We stayed in a different condo in this location last year and enjoyed it so much we wanted to come back. We found this condo which was bigger and more updated than the previous one we stayed in. We enjoyed having some more space. The only down side was the pool was advertised at 78 degrees and wasn't heated up until the weekend - despite calling the rental manager to let him know. (We arrived on a rainy and cool Monday - Tuesday was also cooler and we called about the pool on Wednesday when the weather was much better and sunnier). The rental manager said he would get someone to turn it on but it was never turned on until Saturday. We picked this location particularly because there was a pool and we enjoy sitting by and swimming in pools. And for this location, it is something you pay for. I did email the rental property later in the week about it again and was told the pool was handled by the condo association - not the best response IMO. So we were eventually able to use the pool on the weekend. The unit could use a newer bed as the current one is a little concave, and some updated pillows and there are only 3 mugs so if 4 people were staying there, might want to consider brining a few of your own.
