Open-concept living space in 2 Great Rooms with cathedral ceilings, 2 fireplaces with stone hearths, 3+2 bedrooms and 2.5 baths, all thoughtfully designed to take advantage of the glorious lake views and to fill every interior space with light. The indoors open onto a generous entertaining deck and patio area where you can watch the sun go down. The woodland office/writer's cabin (currently under construction), large dock and lakeside sauna round out this unique property. Beautiful clean shoreline with shallow sandy area plus deep water docking.

Please note, from the cottage there are 122 walking steps down to the lake, a mixture of granite steps, mulch path and wooden stairs.

Skfyall is our part-time home and we ask that you treat it with as much care as we do. As a close-knit group of cottagers, we endeavour to respect each other's space while enjoying cottage excursions. Important to note:
There is zero tolerance for trespassing on neighbours property. We've had issues in the past where guests have accessed out neighbour's boathouse. This is strictly for bidden. Please understand that trespassing on neighbouring properties will result in charges and/or loss of damage deposit. Video surveillance in effect.

Length of stay: Lake of Bays has implemented a Short-term Licence for rental properties in the area which has resulted in certain restrictions, including length of stay. We have decided that the restrictions are too onerous for STRs so have made the decision to switch to longer term rentals. Therefore we must have a minimum of 183 nights of stay per booking, which is compliant with Ontario's definition of a long term rental.

Dorset is only 2 km away with the famous and amazing Robinson's General Store (https://robinsonsgeneralstore.ca/) and Trader's Bay Restaurant. Algonquin Park is a short drive along Highway 60 in one direction with Arrowhead Provincial Park and its skate trail and tubing the other. The Frost Centre's 25km of groomed cross-country trails are only 10km south along Highway 35.
