Just minutes from the Englewood Trailhead on the Mickelson Trail, it’s also close to Spearfish Canyon Scenic Byway, Deadwood, and Terry Peak. Enjoy hiking, biking, and the serene beauty of the Black Hills from this tranquil yet conveniently located getaway.

Cancellation policy
- We offer free cancellation or a 100% refund of the amount payable if you cancel 30 days before the check-in date. If canceling, we will charge a processing fee (to cover credit card processing and administrative fees).

The primary renter is required to SIGN the Renter's Agreement before checking in. This document comprehensively outlines the rules, policies, and terms governing your stay with us. By signing, you acknowledge and commit to adhering to these regulations throughout your stay at our property.
There are two full hookups for RV available on the property. You can rent each hook-up for $50/hook-up/stay

IMPORTANT NOTE: The primary renter is REQUIRED to SIGN the Renter's Agreement before checking in. This document comprehensively outlines the rules, policies, and terms governing your stay with us. By signing, you acknowledge and commit to adhering to these regulations throughout your tenure at our property.

Additional rules

1. If any issues arise during your stay, it’s essential to communicate with us promptly. Good communication between the guest and host is critical to ensuring a smooth and successful stay. You should respond to us (the hosts) within 24 hours when we reach out to resolve an issue. In certain situations, we will need to send our case manager to review the situation in person to fully address any concerns.

Maintenance aside from emergencies will only be able to be tended to during business hours, 8am-5pm.

2. It is a "must" to read the entire listing description and the house rules of our property. If, in this case, you DO NOT read over our listing description or house rules and are not comfortable with something that is clearly stated, we will uphold our cancellation policies.

3. No unregistered guests/visitors unless preapproved

4. Please keep noise to a minimum after 10PM and always be respectful of the neighbors and other tenants in the building.

5. No parties or events unless previously organized in writing with the host. If there’s evidence of a party or event, there’ll be an additional charge of $200.

6 If bringing a pet:
6.1 We don't allow puppies (less than 1 year old), German shepherds, or huskies. No cats allowed.
6.2 A pet fee of $75 is required. Please message us to let us know so that we can send a request.
6.3 Please clean up after your dog (pick up your dog's poop)
6.4 No pets allowed on furniture or beds.

7. Follow state laws when using fire pit. Please make sure not to leave fires unattended.

8. For noise complaints:
8.1 If we receive any noise complaints from neighbors a security guard will be called out to the property at a cost of $85 to guests for the first call out.
8.2. If security is called a second time during your stay, you will be charged a $250 fee and be removed from the premises with no refund of your stay.

9. Please be mindful of neighboring personal property such as swing sets. Do not let children play on or use this without prior written permission.

10. No smoking anywhere in this house. If we find evidence of smoking anywhere in the house you will be charged $250 for extra cleaning.

Follow all check-out procedures:
1. Take out all trash

2. Wash dishes (or start dishwasher)

Note:
* A $200 extra cleaning fee may be charged if home is left unreasonably dirty and requires more work than usual to clean (for example: mud on the couches). All damages will also be charged to guest.

* Check out time is scheduled for 10:00 am on the day of departure unless previously agreed with the host. If the guest is more than 90 minutes late checking out guest will be charged $100.

* Any costs incurred by the host as a result of a late check out will be passed on to you.

Winter Weekend snowmobile getaway at a nice secluded place.

I booked this place due to it being a fairly new build packed with nice amenities, and was pet friendly. The relative location to the a main snowmobile trail very close by to the east was my biggest interest. Well, that didn’t work out to well because the gait is closed at the bridge accessing the trail. I had to ride the road edge about 2 1/2 miles to access the trail but luckily the road had enough snow pack to avoid trailering to a trail head, so snowmobilers beware. The property itself was very nice but had some problems with an ice dam creating a roof leak at the master bedroom and it was seeping into the carpet in the bedroom by the door. Not much the owner can do in that situation and just a minor inconvenience for us. The bed was very comfy and the dogs loved the walks on the secluded road, as traffic is basically nonexistent since it’s the last place on a dead end road. The owners were very fast to answer any questions or concerns and all went very well and we will definitely look to stay again in the future!

Great place to get away and enjoy solitude! Comfortable accommodations, everything you needed was there and very clean. Would recommend to family and friends.

Cozy Blackhills Getaway

This was a great place to enjoy the Blackhills for me and my spouse as well as our dogs! Secluded location with easy access to the Mickelson Trail for walks and a good base for exploring the Blackhills area. Cabin was clean and provided basic essentials and we especially appreciated the fireplace and electric stove to make it extra cozy. The only hiccup was the process of getting back our damage deposit after the stay - the property manager let us know on the front end it would take 2 weeks for the deposit to be refunded (something that I haven't commonly encountered at other rental properties). It ended up being a bit longer than that and came in the form of a paper check in the mail as they said I would have to pay a fee to get the deposit put back on the original form of payment. Communication with the property manager was helpful, but the whole damage deposit was just a bit more of a hassle than other properties.

I'm so glad we chose this property to stay at! From the seamless booking process to the attentiveness of the host, our trip was stress-free. We had great communication with the host, who was willing to answer all our questions and response time was impeccable. Very clean, comfortable atmosphere, and great location for our trip. The property was everything we hoped and more. Hope to stay here again someday!
