Escape to this beautiful home in Middlesboro KY nestled in the Appalachian Mountains. Built in 1944 and lovingly remodeled to keep the original character.

There are 4 queen beds and one twin bed, a large fully stocked kitchen with a large table for your entire family and a very relaxing front porch with rocking chairs in which to enjoy our seasonal fireflies.

The family room has a 65" TV with several streaming options and some very comfortable furniture.

Minutes from LMU, the Cumberland Gap National Park, Abraham Lincoln Library, the Wilderness Trail and fishing at Canyon Creek Lake.

Cook at home or enjoy some of the great restaurants in Middlesboro. We recommend Yamoto steakhouse which has amazing sushi and Japanese cuisine and Ike's Artisan Pizza

We stayed for the weekend for our daughter’s white coat ceremony. Everything was clean and exactly as promised. The kitchen was huge and fantastic. We definitely would stay again.

Very clean. Perfect for kids. Easy travel to get food, and a lot of places to see and hike. Host was extremely helpful and responded quickly when we needed to reach out. Highly recommend!

Just completed another perfect stay. We were in town for my mother’s funeral, and it was so nice to return to a place that was so comfortable, clean, and well equipped for all our needs. Tim was so kind and caring and offered his condolences. He even expedited the cleaning and allowed us to check in early, which was so helpful. I would highly recommend the Morrison House for anyone staying in the area.

This house is central to the Cumberland Falls, the Pinnacle, Cumberland Gap area. It was just what we were looking for. We are a group of 6 friends who travel together regularly. We were very comfortable here.

LMU Graduation Celebration

Attended our daughter’s graduation from PA school! House was perfect for us; just a ten minute drive to campus. There was a lovely park just a short walk across the street and close proximity to shopping and restaurants. Our host, Tim, was AMAZING and made sure our stay was like home away from home with lots of special touches! I HIGHLY recommend staying there!

Very neat older home. The place has been kept up very well over the years. The kitchen area has a ton of room, and it fitted our needs extremely well. Tim was great to deal with and the place is in a very cozy community. Cool little coffee shop down the street and some unique/quaint dining just minutes away. We had a perfect family Christmas at the Morrison House! Our host thought of absolutely anything and everything we could possibly need. He had great communication before and during our stay and made his contact information readily available in case we encountered any issues (which, thankfully, we did not). He included the most detailed instructions I have ever seen at a vacation rental for every item throughout the house, and he had labeled light switches, locks, remotes, etc, to make things so easy. He even had a sign posted in the living room with the WiFi password info. We were able to stream all our favorite shows and movies on the large tv.The kitchen was huge and had every appliance and utensil and cookware you could ever need. I especially loved the double oven and large cooktop. The dining table and chairs were large enough to hold eight plus. A large washer and dryer, as well as a dishwasher, were very convenient. The beds were very comfortable, with ample bedding, blankets, and other linens. The bedrooms had ceiling fans and heaters in case we needed either.I could go on and on! I highly recommend and look forward to returning whenever we visit family in my old hometown. Thanks for letting us make special memories with our 5- week old grandson as well as celebrate the 15th birthday of our other grandson. We will never forget our Christmas of 2025!

My wife and I live in Phoenix AZ. We acquired this house from my best friend. It was his childhood home and he knew how much I loved it. I have spent the last few summers remodeling it and hope to share it with others. I love to cook and think I have provided everything a chef could need.

This home was built in 1944 and the wood inside is fantastic. We have lovingly remodeled it to showcase it's original beauty. The front door is original and the back door is original mid century modern. It's a time capsule in many ways.
