Pastoral views

A cozy and tidy house with a gorgeous view. We loved our time here. I spent an hour on the front porch as the sun went down just watching the colors change on the mountains, woods, rolling pastures, barns and farmhouses.

The Friendswood property was ideal for a quiet and calm retreat, which is what we needed. It included almost everything we needed and the hosts were able to provide the minor additional requests we had (measuring cups and more information on the trash location and pickup). Zeus, our big baby pitbull, enjoyed the fields and ability to run loose near the house, as well as leashed walks, time on the porch, as well as sunbathing in the side yard.

House was beautiful and beautifully decorated (French-Countryish). For us, it was in an excellent location (near my elderly mother) to celebrate Christmas with her. A Christmas tree, outside lights and door wreath were added for our stay (the perfect touch). The house is located on/near a horse farm…beautiful & very peaceful. Communication was excellent with the property managers. They were very accommodating to our needs. I will be a repeat vacationer.

We brought our dog and she was able to run around on the 7 acres of clean property. She loved it. The communication between the host and myself was easy and informative. The property was cozy and quiet. I would definitely recommend anyone going into the Fletcher, Asheville area to give this booking a try. You will not be able to use the garage because they are storing things in there. So when you are looking at the property and expect to do that, you will not be able to. But, there is plenty of parking and the area is very safe and gated. I really have nothing negative to say about my stay at this location.
