We had a magical visit to the Artist’s Layer in Asheville. The hosts sent a welcome guide with instructions and many wonderful recommendations for entertainment and food. The location was conveniently tucked away in a quiet neighborhood but very close to downtown and attractions of interest for us like the Biltmore and Grove Park Inn. The property was clean and welcoming with plenty of space for my family to relax in between heading out for entertainment. They were also thoughtful to have extra supplies on hand like detergent so we didn’t have to purchase during our stay. We will definitely book again for future Asheville stays! Thank you so much for your hospitality!

My family and I stayed over Christmas and the location couldn’t be more perfect, everything was about a 10 minute drive including the Biltmore, Omni resort and downtown. The house was the perfect charming size and everything was very clean and spacious. We were able to have our Christmas dinner with everything in the kitchen and amenities were great. Communication was easy the entire process and couldn’t be happier about our stay, can’t wait to visit again!

Everything was wonderful. Only minor minor minor issue was the back button on the TV remote in the main room didn’t work so maneuvering the streaming apps on the TV was challenging. All else was wonderful. Everyone’s room was comfortable. Place was warm and cozy.

Oakley is a perfect area to get you to any area around Asheville you wish to visit. The home is a beautiful, cozy gem. We loved it so much. The hosts are lovely and very communicative. This was an ideal rental for our family. Great quiet neighborhood in proximity to our destinations (downtown, Biltmore, WNC nature center). Spent the mornings on the patio! Our kids loved the luxury of having their own tvs in the room. All appliances were great. Enjoy this lovely house!

Check in was super easy, details were given in advance and clearly. Location was central to everything we wanted to do or see. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils. It was a very comfortable stay overall!

Perfect home away from home

We were staying in Asheville to help rebuild houses for hurricane Helene victims and drop supplies off to different families in the area. This house was perfectly situated for us to do all of those things plus enjoy local restaurants. The price was more than fair and the space was more than ample. Having a full-size kitchen was a definite, plus, as was the screened-in porch. The only small issue for us was that the mattresses are softer than we're used to, so we had to use separate beds in order to get a good night sleep. Extra kudos for the windows having both shades and blackout curtains. Thanks again for a wonderful stay!

Cute house in a great location

House was located in east Asheville minutes off interstate. Easy to get to Biltmore, West Asheville and Black Mountain in 10-20 minutes. Highland brewery was just down the road. We had plenty of space for our family and screened in porch was a bonus for morning/ evening enjoyment. We had a minor issue with a light switch when staying and host was very responsive and took care of it right away.

Cute property

The house was very cute and well maintained. Location was great, only took a star off because the roads to get there are a bit narrow if you have a bigger vehicle. The check out requests were reasonable, I would stay here again.

Holiday Trip

The house was clean, well-appointed, and in a quiet neighborhood, which was perfect for us. The host checked in to make sure we had everything we needed. My husband and I visit Asheville at least once a year and would definitely stay here again. One suggestion would be to install a motion light or something on the porch. We had to use our cell phone flashlight to see well enough at night to put in the code.

Great place close to so much Asheville has to offer

We had a lovely week in the area for a wedding. We chose to stay one last day to do the Biltmore before dispersing but we were down to just 5 at this point so a small place was all we needed. This was perfect ( but we had a little trouble finding towels - maybe they should be left on the bed or dresser - in one room they were on the bedside table bottom shelf) Kitchen was very workable. The Welcome book had sooo much information and even easily scanned QR codes to the various places suggested! WiFi was fast and reliable! The beds very comfortable! And I personally loved the framed check-out process!!!

A Perfect Stay

Check in was easy & seamless. The rental was clean & very well equipped for cooking. I appreciated the fact that the home was close to downtown and yet had a neighborhood feel.
