Everything was wonderful. Only problem we had was the garbage was not picked up but was probably due to the 4th of July Holiday. We also tried to contact management about the garbage issue and ask for a late check out, but never had a response via phone or text. The house was exactly as listed and the pools were a great place to hang out on our down days. Perfect place for a large group and price is right.

Thank you for your wonderful review! We're delighted to hear that you enjoyed your stay, found the home exactly as described, and that your group made the most of the pools during your downtime. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience with the garbage collection. As you mentioned, the holiday schedule over the Fourth of July can sometimes impact the county's normal pickup service. We're also very sorry to hear that you did not receive a response regarding your inquiry about the garbage and your late check-out request. This is not the level of service we strive to provide, and we will be reviewing our communication process to ensure messages are responded to more promptly in the future. We truly appreciate your valuable feedback, as it helps us continue improving the guest experience. Thank you again for choosing to stay with us, and we hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back for another great stay in the future!

Amazingly good communication with the hostess, Karen. The home we stayed in was very clean, very convenient, and had much-appreciated plus amenities for our baby grandson.Ease of travel to Disney parks cannot be overstated... a few turns and straight into the parking lot areas. Will definitely look to stay here again.

The house worked very well for our family. We were in town for our daughter’s Disney wedding. The location was great. Stores and restaurants nearby as well. We didn’t use the common areas or pools, but they looked pretty great! The pool at the house is very small, looks bigger in the photos. House has two large bedrooms with en suite baths, and three other bedrooms utilizing two more bathrooms. Large kitchen, dining area and counter seating large enough for 11, and living area. Full size washer and dryer, well stocked kitchen, extra towels, great decor, parking right at the house, secure location. Very communicative hosts. Very clean property. Highly recommend this house!!

Our stay had positives, but overall, it fell short for the price. At the entrance, a rainbow-colored Winnebago sat surrounded by cones and caution tape. I don’t know what happened, but the posted photo shows the unusual first impression.Management accommodated our early arrival after our cruise, allowing us to check in at 2 p.m. instead of 4 p.m. We appreciated this, especially with family arriving early. The community pool experience was frustrating. Staff thoroughly searched our bags. I work in law enforcement, and this felt more intrusive than a routine bag check. We were told no outside food or drinks were allowed, including Stanley cups filled with water. My fiancée had to hand over her cup. The pool was nice, but refreshments were expensive: 10 for a draft Michelob Ultra and 50 for two pretzels, a hot dog, and three sodas. Those prices made the restrictions especially frustrating. The house was spacious, with comfortable beds, plenty of towels, and good air conditioning. However, the living room had only one couch, making it difficult for our family to gather comfortably. The private pool was nice, but the overhead screen had a hole. A repair crew arrived while our family was swimming, without advance notice. The workers were friendly and respectful, but a heads-up would have been appreciated. We enjoyed parts of the house and appreciated the early check-in, but the overall experience didn’t feel worth what we paid. Better communication would have helped a lot.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re pleased to hear that you enjoyed the spacious home, comfortable beds, plentiful towels, air conditioning, and private pool, and that you appreciated the complimentary early check-in. We would, however, like to clarify that several of the concerns mentioned in your review relate to the resort and its temporary entrance arrangements rather than the rental home itself. At the time of your stay, work was being carried out at the resort’s main entrance, which required temporary security measures, cones, and caution tape. This was a temporary situation outside of our control and was in place for the safety of guests while the work was underway. The pool rules, bag checks, food and beverage policies, and pricing are also resort policies and operations, rather than policies established or controlled by our rental management team. Regarding the private pool screen, we had arranged for the repair to be addressed, and the repair team attended the property to complete the necessary work. We appreciate that advance notice would have been preferable and will certainly take that feedback on board. We’re sorry that some aspects of your overall resort experience did not meet your expectations. At the same time, we’re glad that you found the home itself spacious, comfortable, well equipped, and enjoyable. We always strive to provide our guests with a clean, comfortable home and responsive service, and we appreciate your kind comments regarding the early check-in and the positive aspects of the property. We hope you and your family enjoyed your time in Florida and wish you all the best.

My only complaint, if you want to call it one, was that it was much colder upstairs than downstairs. We didn’t attempt to adjust the temperature, as advised prior to check in. However, I also did not call the Hostess. We were only there 3 nights and this small detail did not hamper our stay at all. The house is lovely; very clean and extremely well supplied. Recommend the small upcharge to get the pool heated for this time of year. It was wonderful. The location was great. Close the Disney, shopping and major routes.I would definitely stay at Storey Lake again.

Clean and spacious. Need to add fixed dispensers for soap and shampoo like mist hotels and cindos. A keurig would be more standard and appreciated, with a few complimentary pods. More than 2 dishwasher pods would be helpful, and more than 2 bath towels per bathroom. Pool towels not supplied. Sofa seats 3 with one additional small chair in living room for 5 BR home was a challenge. AC had a mind of its own, worked well when set properly. Would stay again for a Disney visit .

Beautiful home!

We enjoyed our time here. The property was an Uber ride to Disneyworld and Epcot center. The property has a nice pool and restaurant area that we did not get to enjoy this time around. Things to bring when staying here are shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. They did provide one packet of laundry and dishwashing soap. Plenty of pool towels and bath towels were available as well.If you plan to cook or eat at the house, you will need cooking oil, salt, pepper, coffee, and sugar. The pots, pans, and utensils were availabe and in great condition.
