Mariposa Grove Creekside Retreat - To be featured on Staycation in 2026!

Kick back and relax in this calm, modern mountain house built in 2024. The PERFECT location, 1.7 miles from the south entrance to Yosemite NP, which is where you will find Mariposa Grove, home to the largest sequoia grove in Yosemite. Explore YNP Valley and the plethora of nearby hiking trails, all at your fingertips! The local store is conveniently located less than half a mile away and carries those last-minute items you may have forgotten, and Oakhurst is a short 11-mile scenic drive. Start your day with coffee on the deck while taking in the sound of birds and rippling water as it flows through Big Creek, located at the back of the property. The main level boasts a queen sofa sleeper, television, full kitchen, laundry area, and full bathroom. The upstairs loft area has a game table, which can also be used as an office space, as well as two bedrooms, one with a king-sized bed and the other with bunk beds, full on bottom and twin on top. There is also a full bathroom upstairs. Guests are welcome to use all of the living space of the house. Guests are welcome to text or call at any time if help is needed. Contact number and access code for the smart lock is provided two days prior to check-in.

It was new, spacious and comfortable. Very close to Tenaya Lodge and the park entrance. Nice patio above a babbling creek, set in the forest. Beds were comfortable, all new appliances, and two new convenient bathrooms. Detailed and helpful instructions from the owner. Overall, a great stay!

Stargazing delight

We absolutely loved our stay at this home! It was beautifully kept and fully equipped with everything we needed… from kitchen supplies to cozy blankets. The backyard creek was such a peaceful highlight… we dipped our toes in and enjoyed the calming sound of the water each day. The location was perfect, just minutes from the south entrance to Yosemite, which made getting into the park so easy. My daughters and nephews made unforgettable core memories here, from hiking adventures to stargazing at night in the driveway!! We couldn’t have asked for a better base for our Yosemite trip!

A clean quiet and comfortable oasis!

The house is new, clean, comfortable and stocked with everything we needed down to the smallest detail. Communication with the owner was excellent . An added bonus was being able to relax on the comfy chairs on the tree lined deck after a busy day at Yosemite! We also loved waking up to see the trees out the window in the morning!

So amazing from check in until our departure. The house had easy entry. We could park in the garage to keep the car safe. House was clean. Well-stocked. Fireplace was a nice cozy touch. The wrap around balcony was gorgeous. Oh, and there is a roaring brook behind the house. You can hear the water. It’s so soothing. Beds were comfortable. Linens were top quality. There was a pull out couch bed, too. We will come back here whenever possible.

Great property, great location

The house was perfect, clean, spacious and full of amenities. The location is great, super close to the Yosemite south entrance. The host was responsive and helpful, we would definitely stay here again.

Amazing home, close to Yosemite South entrance.

Wow, what a beautiful home. This home is brand new and has first class appliances, a fantastic kitchen and other luxury features throughout. It has a small stream just below the deck that gives it a peaceful and relaxing vibe. It is a very short drive to the Yosemite South entrance and horse back riding. There is also a small store nearby. If you are going to Yosemite South. This is your place. We absolutely loved it.

Fantastic stay

Beautiful, well-equipped property! Very close to Yosemite South Entrance, accessible creek behind the house, and kind and communicative owners. Could not recommend more highly.

Yosemite National Park was the first national park my sons and I visited. We were mesmerized with the beauty this park offers. We plan to visit all the national parks, but the wonder of Yosemite will always keep this place at the top of our list.

この宿泊施設の特徴

Our modern mountain home was designed to be built exactly where it's at. The floor-to- ceiling windows keep the creek and forest trees in view no matter where you are at in the house. Listening to the creek while enjoying a cup of coffee in the morning on the deck and your evening beverage of choice is priceless! Being 1.7 miles from the south entrance to Yosemite National Park saves much time waiting to get into the park during peak season.
