SCENIC CASCADES is located inside the heart of Yosemite National Park near the most majestic sites - Glacier Point, Half Dome, Winter Ski Area, and Yosemite Waterfalls. Our family friendly home boasts all the amenities include FREE WIFI, pool table, large TV, Fireplace and Outdoor patio and Gas BBQ. Our KITCHEN is fully equipped with all cooking and dining needs. 2,000 Sq. Ft home features 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, comfortably sleeps up to 10 guests. Lower level of 2-unit property.

Great place to stay within Yosemite national Park. Quiet and has beautiful sunset views from the patio, which was our favorite part having access to the grill was super useful as well.

This was a great spot right in Yosemite -- about a 30 minute drive to the Valley floor where many major hikes start. It's tucked away and surrounded by trees but still has a nice sunset view through those trees from the balcony. Would definitely recommend it for a group/family seeking a post-hike refuge.

Beautiful quaint property just in the fork to glacier point. Could not recommend more to stay inside thd park, in july the queues are large to enter and entrance is about 45 mins from glacier point

Nice, roomy home in Yosemite convenient for exploring the park. We were 3 couples, and it was great for each couple to have their own bathroom. Lovely big porch, good kitchen amenities and modern appliances in good working condition. The dining area table was nice and big so we could all fit around the table for meals and games. Very comfortable beds. We slept great!

Great Location!

We stayed here before and after we hiked Half Dome. It was great to have a place where we could really relax before and after the long day. Would definitely stay here again!

It's a little dated and could have been a little cleaner but overall a great place to stay to enjoy Yosemite. It has everything you need and plenty of room to socialize or have some privacy.

Kitchen and bathrooms were not well cleaned, with food splatter and other people’s hair left behind. The couch cushions had food crumbs and popcorn between them. The furniture on the porch was covered in a green film and the grill had not been cleaned. I tried to clean myself, but there were no supplies and no broom or vacuum. The dishwasher leaks onto the floor and the fridge smelled like sewage. I texted both hosts on the phone numbers posted all over the house and nobody replied to me over the 5 nights we were there.

Home in Yosemite

Lower Cascades felt like home in Yosemite NP. Well equipped kitchen, plenty of linens and amenities this place was perfect for large families. We absolutely enjoyed our stay.

We stayed at Lower Cascades September 23-25, 2026The location of this property is ideal, and the parking was convenient. Unfortunately, those were the highlights of our stay.The home was noticeably dirty and appeared to have been neglected from a cleaning and maintenance standpoint. There was mold on the kitchen counters and in the shower, numerous cobwebs, hair on the bathroom floors and in the tub, sticky and dirty cabinets, dirty walls, doors, windows, and floors. We also found dirty underwear and pants in a dresser drawer and under the bed, presumably left behind by a previous guest. This was unacceptable and made us question how thoroughly the property is cleaned between guests.There were also several maintenance and safety concerns. A bathroom faucet was broken, and the deck needs repairs and did not feel safe to use. We did contact the host and they did say they would come by in the morning, but at this point we knew we wouldn’t be staying. In order for the house to be presentable it would need a few days of deep cleaning. We attempted to contact the owner using the phone numbers provided on the door and left a message, but received no response. The property description is also inaccurate. The listing states that there are three king beds. The actual sleeping arrangements are two king beds, one queen bed with bunk beds. The condition of the home was significant enough that we shortened our stay. Have some pride in your home and come by for a visit to check on it.

This is a lower unit so if you are sensitive to noise, I do not recommend it. We arrived and the family above us had children who ran back and forth across the unit for hours. It was really distracting and loud. We called and didn't receive a response from our hosts until the next day which was disappointing. We asked if it would be possible to move to a different unit. That question was not addressed. If we stay here again, we will look for an upper unit.

Tucked in Yosemite. Close to many of the park’s great sites. Very clean and spacious. Balcony overlooking the sunset with grill. Great hosts.

Lots of space here. Keep in mind to have your food with you before coming out to Yosemite as grocery stores and restaurants are a drive and expensive. We wasted a lot of time chasing down food.This place is close to Glacier Point and about 20-25 min drive to Yosemite Valley.

Very clean and cozy place to stay

We went to Yosemite three days two nights trip . We were lucky found this place to stay. The owner keeps the house clean and offers everything you needed. It is only 30 mins to drive to Yosemite Village. Super recommend this house to Yosemite trips. We are definitely will return on next trip.

Very average

Check in process was fine and easy. However, the place was not super clean. Hairs on bathroom counters, crumbs around the kitchen and the most annoying part was that the clothes dryer didn’t work. Kind of important to be able to do laundry when hiking all day. Texted and called the property managers and they responded 24 hours later with, “sorry, we needed to let the owner know”. Never got fixed. It’s a pretty location with beautiful views, but the cleanliness was average and if you are on the 2nd floor be ready to hear every footstep of the tennant upstairs.
