Comfortable and homey

Stayed for about 10 days- very comfortable and homey with all needed amenities. Loved the pool and grill! Very friendly owners and easy to work with. We comfortably had 3 adults and one child. Loved the kids room with the toys. Smart TV in living room. Awesome bathtubs in bathrooms! Excellent hot water and water pressure. Fully stocked kitchen. More than enough towels and linens.

Beautiful home!!

Our home away from home was absolutely beautiful and our family had an awesome time in Texas. It was great to all stay in one place. We made some wonderful memories during our trip to Texas. We had a fun filled vacation that included the Texas Ranger game, JFK Memorial/6th Floor Museum and the Dallas Cowboy vs. NY Giants game!! Of course we were super excited that the Cowboys won. On the days we did not sightsee, we spent our time in the pool. This is a trip our family will never forget. Thank you to Mike and Marilyn for making our stay very comfortable. We would definitely recommend this place!!!

Thanksgiving with the family

Wow, what a wonderful property. My family and I gathered here at this magnificent property and had plenty of room! Check-in was great, Marilyn is excellent to deal with and was easy to get in touch with. The property was clean and felt like home. Thanks for sharing your home with us! Also, wish the weather would have been better, but we did get to enjoy the newly installed putting green which is awesome! I'm sure in the summer, the pool is great. We were a little worried about parking, but the drive-way holds 4 cars so it was not a problem at all. Overall, this could not have been a better place for us to gather and make our Thanksgiving an unforgettable event. We would definitely stay here again! Thanks so much!

Nit picky

The property was nice; however, no where near ready for renters to stay. There was a lot of missing furniture, silverware’s, plates, etc. Nevertheless, we as a group were not picky and this was not an issue. The biggest frustration was the owner attempting to force us to pay for a maid, and being at the house almost everyday for the month we stayed.

This group exceeded the 8 person house limit and these10 guys strongest attribute was not keeping the house tidy. A few repairs were necessary when they left, the dryer stopped working because red rags were stuck in the return vent, the hand railing was torn off the wall and someone burned the couch. It could have been worse and I am thankful they stayed. The house was lacking the masterbedroom furniture when the group checked in, the furniture finally came in but I appreciate this group being so flexible. I enjoyed coming over to cook for you guys and apologize if I seemed nit picky.

A Real Nightmare!

The house was dirty and it was very difficult to deal with the owner. We found dirty Q-tips in the bathroom as well as dirty sponges in the kitchen. There is clutter everywhere, mainly all dishes are chipped including cups and many of glassware. We didn't stay and ask the owner for 50% refund and it was denied. Very uncomfortable stay, a nightmare!! P.S. "It was a short stay and left the place cleaner that was found"

My home was not dirty! I pray all goes well for this family. It was a tragic situation that prompted the stay and the family was stressed. I hope things get better for them. I feel negative energy, combined with untruthfulness played the biggest factor in this rental deboco.

Girls weekend

Our stay was great! The place was super cute and clean, and had plenty of space for me and my friends. The pool was awesome and well taken care of, we spent most of our days there! Kitchen tools and appliances could be updated a bit, but had most things we needed to cook while we were there. Pantry was well stocked with the basics! Would stay there again! Thank you Marilyn!

The perfect home for our long weekend.

We had such a blast on this property on Memorial weekend. The house has plenty space, its located on a quiet neighborhood and great location and the pool was amazing. Our kids and guests enjoyed it from dusk till dawn. Overall great property.

Could have been better but,

Both the owner and manager worked hard to right the wrongs. We would have asked different questions up front. Both have been great to offer some compensation. Would we stay again, yes.

Great home!!

I love the comfort of the home. The owner was very helpful and she understood my needs and the troubles I was going thru. We were traveling to College Station to my daughters Graduation from Texas A & M and turn back to Dallas Ft Worth area and she was able to accommodate us as a late check in and documentation. Awsome host!! thanks alot

Just what we were looking for!

After arriving in TX to a house that wasn't what was advertised - Home Away hooked us up with this 1. It was exactly as the pictures show. More than enough room to kick back and relax. We loved the pool - which isn't heated but it was still a great feature and we sure used it.

We enjoyed our stay, we came across a minor issue with one of the TVs, but other than that our stay was perfect. The manager was wonderful and he responded back in a timely manner. We would definitely recommend this property and stay here again.

Property was one of the best we have ever stayed in. All rooms was large.
