Glendore Was Great!

The location and property were great. The house and garage apartment were clean, well-stocked, and comfortable. Our family had a wonderful week with the best weather we have ever had in Rangeley. Everyone on staff was phenomenal. It was a wonderful stay. Thank you.

Everything we were looking for

Our primary activity while in Rangeley is fishing. Having a nice dock and being located close enough to town was a nice convenience. Down a nice quiet camp road and everything we needed to relax for the weekend.

Comfortable stay on the lake

Glandore is a lovely house and was very comfortable for our family gathering. The house was clean and cozy with great view of the lake. We were happy to play board game on a rainy Saturday. And it is a great location near Oquossuc from which we could enjoy some day trips.

Vacation at Glandore

We want to thank Morton and Furbish for facilitating this stay at Glandore. The best rental experience so far! Beautiful, spacious cabin on Rangley lake! Great for multi family stay with garage apartment. Rangeley offers so many things to do. Swimming, boating, fishing, shopping without the tourist crowds. Great memories made here!

Loved our Stay

We had a terrific time at the Glandore! My husband was out hunting so my niece and I kicked back and just relaxed. Everything was comfortable and worked well. We didn't use the little apartment above the garage but we peeked in and it was great! We will stay here again in a heartbeat!! Loved the location- very quiet and private. Loved the waterfront view and hearing the loons. And I absolutely adore Morton and Furbish and all those who made our vacation so great.

Great Home!

Overall this is a great vacation spot. Moments from town, quiet, and beautiful views. We had a family of ten and were very happy and comfortable. The only real caveat is that if you want dock fishing this isn't the spot/lake for you, the water is great for swimming and paddling but pretty much devoid of fish.

Just the vacation the family needed!

Our family loved Glandore from the moment we walked in. There was plenty of room for the five of us plus our dog, the cabin is beautiful, and the lake view even better. The gravel road is far enough away from the main highway that it's peaceful all day and night (the noisiest sound at night is the calling of the loons on the lake). The floating dock was perfect for putting out the kayaks we brought, or just to set up lawn chairs and sun ourselves. A dishwasher and clothes washer/dryer certainly came in handy during the week we were there. There's adequate WiFi from the satellite TV provider, which made us all happy on the one rainy day we had. The next time we come, we'll bring a telescope for a little stargazing, since the sky is so black that the stars lay out like a carpet, and the mosquitoes were surprisingly scarce most of the time. All in all, it was the perfect place to unwind from life for awhile.
