Mt. Charleston Spacious 4BR Log Cabin WiFi - Near Las Vegas
Escape to one of Southern Nevada's best-kept secrets. Nestled on the southern side of Mount Charleston near the Pahrump side of the mountain, this one-of-a-kind log cabin retreat is tucked away in the private Trout Canyon community, offering peace, privacy, and breathtaking natural beauty just a scenic drive from Las Vegas, Red Rock Canyon, and Pahrump.
This spacious 2,400+ square-foot mountain getaway sits on a private one-acre lot and features four large bedrooms and four bathrooms, providing plenty of room for families, groups, or anyone looking to escape the crowds and reconnect with nature.
Start your morning with a cup of coffee on the expansive 33-foot covered front deck or unwind on the 33-foot back deck while taking in the fresh mountain air, star-filled skies, and the sounds of nature. Whether you're exploring nearby hiking trails, visiting Red Rock Canyon, enjoying the excitement of Las Vegas, or simply relaxing by the fire, this cabin is the perfect home base for an unforgettable getaway.
One of Trout Canyon's most fascinating features is its natural spring water system. The small private community receives fresh mountain spring water delivered from an ancient cave located approximately four miles up the canyon—a unique feature rarely found anywhere else.
Trout Canyon is an exclusive mountain community of approximately 20 homes, with only a handful occupied year-round, creating an exceptionally quiet and peaceful atmosphere. The cabin is located 11 miles off Highway 160 via a county-maintained dirt road, rewarding guests with incredible seclusion, stunning mountain scenery, and a true escape from city life.
If you're looking for privacy, adventure, fresh mountain air, and a truly unique Nevada experience, you've found it.
TRASH: There is no community trash service in Trout Canyon.
The nearest landfill is in Pahrump, which is about a 60-mile round trip from the cabin. The landfill charges disposal fees based on the size of the load, and those fees are determined by the landfill, not by us.
To make things easier, guests have two options:
1. Take their trash home and dispose of it in their own trash bins, or
2. Pay a $100 trash removal fee, and cleaner will take care of disposing of the trash.
If a guest chooses the trash removal option, all trash must be securely bagged and placed in the large lined containers inside the game room before departure.
Please do not leave any trash outside. Because the cabin is in a rural area, trash left outdoors will quickly attract rats and mice, and once they become established, they are very difficult to eliminate.
We hope this helps explain why the policy is in place. Thank you for your understanding.
