This delightful house in Raleigh boasts 2 inviting bedrooms. A comfortable king bed in one room and queen bed in the other, ensuring a superb night's sleep for our guests. The house also features 2 bathrooms, complete with a hair dryer for your convenience. In addition, there is a cozy living room with a futon, new kitchen cabinets and high level granite countertop ,providing an enjoyable space to relax and unwind. Stay connected with high speed WiFi, and take advantage of the washing machine for any laundry needs. With heating and AC, you'll always be comfortable during your stay. A little bit disappointing, but not bad. Would give them 6/10. PROS:Excellent communication with host. Location is goodStreet is very dog friendly for walking. We appreciated the fenced yard but previous guests have not picked up after their pets and it definitely needs to be cleaned. House and beds were comfortable. CONS:House needs a lot of maintenance, touch ups and a couple gallons of paint. The front door knob just fell off. Pushed right back in but makes you question security. Powder room door is also just hanging on. All of the blinds had broken slats, one bedrooms’ wouldn’t even close. Curtains look fresh out of the bag. Paperwork needs to be corrected. House rules had contradictory and unclear information. Overall, owners need to put in some work before it will be considered a highly rated property.

Never had a reason to contact the host. The accommodation was OK. There are little things that need fixing...electric outlets that are not functioning, toilet tank that ran continuously, trim molding that needs finishing. House was clean, kitchen functional and two bedrooms that were quiet.

Beds, linens, towels, rooms all quite clean. Lots of pillows and nice bedding. Decent wifi, somewhat confusing TV package. Had no contact with the host other than online.We have no pets. Kitchen facilities are fine with dishes, microwave, coffee machine, big fridge and glass top stove, big stainless sink. That said, we were visiting family so we didn't use any local dishes or materials. Big modern washer and dryer. The host's instructions request that the guest starts a washer load of the used towels upon leaving. We did that, no problem. Complaints: while very clean, the house is not in the best repair. Bathroom exhaust fan and electrical outlet in the bathroom did not work. There were a number of loose or wobbly items. Hot water is a long time in coming but it does eventually come. Front and back doors and their frames were hastily repaired from previous damage. Front door pushbutton lock is set for a physical pattern, not random numbers so anybody who has been there before can open the door unless bolted. The back door knob lock is visual only. The latch has no striker in the door frame so it has no function. The door does have a deadbolt. Again, this is an OK place to stay. Clean quiet and comfortable. Quiet neighborhood. It just needs some TLC by a *qualified* carpenter and maintenance person.

When we arrived the downstairs of the home looked clean. When we went upstairs one of the bedrooms looked like no one had used it. The other bedroom was used and not cleaned. The sheets and mattress pad had what looked like blood stains and the sheets had a large purple stain. There was dog hair everywhere. I contacted the host and told her that the place had not been cleaned. The host explained that she was unaware that it was not cleaned and ask what she could do to rectify the problem. I requested a 2 night refund and cleaning supplies. The host honored the request. We cleaned the house and washed the bedding, the purple stain remained on the sheets. We enjoyed our stay.

Wedding in Oxford

Needed a place for 4 of us to stay for a wedding near Oxford, NC. Not a lot of choices in the price range we were looking for. This place looked decent, but not very clean and a little rundown. We'd think twice before we stayed there again.

Uncomfortable stay

The house was clean but when we went to check in, it was not ready until 2 hours late. Once in, the rooms were neat and tidy. The next day, the owner took down part of the fence and dug a trench with a machine all around the house which took her 8 hours and then she came back the next day and did more. This left loose red dirt everywhere in the backyard for my dogs to run through. There was also a strange rule that if you don't wash the dishes and put them away, you'll be charged $100. I always wash them and put them away as a courtesy but saying people will be charged if they don't is going to encourage them to rinse and stick them back into the cabinet not totally clean. We used paper plates. All of this could easily be corrected and if she corrects those things, it would be a nice place to stay.

Concert Stay

Overall, a really good experience! The apartment is situated in a duplex in a quiet neighborhood, and the beds were comfortable and clean. Would definitely stay again!
