Our modern, eco-friendly amenities ensure a comfortable and sustainable stay, making every moment memorable! Now offering both a drip coffee maker and a Keurig that brews with K-Cups or ground coffee using the included reusable filter—perfect for every coffee preference! This unit features a King bed, luxury flooring, recessed lighting, a built-in desk with USB ports, and ample storage for all your vacation essentials. We've thought of everything to ensure a seamless and memorable stay in this Sea Cabin. Experience the best that Isle of Palms has to offer with direct beach, pool, and pier access within walking distance to Ocean Blvd's shops, restaurants & attractions.

*PLEASE NOTE: The Sea Cabins community will be undergoing scheduled roof and HVAC stand replacements from October 20th, 2025 through February 13th, 2026, with work taking place in phases by building. Each building will be closed to guests during its scheduled work period, so you can rest assured that construction will not occur in the building you are staying in. Minimal noise or disruption is expected, and we appreciate your understanding as these important community improvements are completed.

--LAYOUT--
Bedroom #1: King bed, blackout curtains, ample cabinet storage space and Smart TV + cable. Built-in desk is in the bedroom for a quiet workspace.

Bed #2: Full-sized sleeper sofa located in living room and 65" Smart TV + cable.

Winter get away

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our stay started off with a small bump. The rental had a leak. But Island Realty was quick to offer a couple other suitable options that worked out. Our rental was nice, clean and a good location. Then, we experienced another problem, the heat went out in the rental. Overnight temps had been in the mid 30s so having heat was necessary. One text to the maintenance department and it was up and running by the time we got back. We’ve stayed at the Sea Cabins several times in the past and hopefully more in the future. PS: there is no place to hang your clothes. They need to remove the desk and install a closet or a bar to hang clothes from.

The rental was adequate for the 2 of us and everything was in order as described on Island Realty site. The air conditioning worked well. The only thing I will say is needed to be at least a manual can opener which there was not but we made out ok without it. Also the bar stools could use cushions because there were uncomfortable if sat on for a long time.

That went very smooth This was by far our favorite SeaCabin. It’s been thoughtfully updated and that was appreciated. We loved the option of a king bed. The only negative would be no real place to hang clothes. We solved the problem by purchasing two over door hangers to then be able to hang clothes. We hadn’t visited this late in the year but the weather (mostly) was very good. Got our beach time in🤓We would rent this unit again w/o a doubt One small glitch with the beach access code being changed but luckily an owner was on property and she shared the (changed) codeWe had a visit during our stay from hearing/cooling folks. We did not allow access...island realty should have arranged that with us or after our stay ended.

Was everything we expected and more. There was only one drawback we found and it was that there wasn’t any place to hang clothes up and limited drawer space. Might suggest a second bedstand on other side of bed for that and to put cell phone at night. But it was still a fabulous weekend and a terrific location to the beach, some restaurants, and access to the main connector road to make quick trips to Mt Pleasant & Charleston downtown! Check in and check out were a breeze as well! Thank you! My wife and I really enjoyed the time we were there!

But the Sea Cabin was incredible itself.

The location is perfect. Easy to get to everything. the unit appears recently updated. It is a little odd having the bed in the front room but it works. Bring your own soap and shampoo. The travel size bottles they provide are just not enough. You will be pleased with the ease of check in and value.

Recent re-modeling was very good; however, lacked some appointments that would make it even better. A new sofa would make a huge difference. Not up to our typical Sea Cabins’ expectations

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We always rent a Sea Cabin for our IOP getaway. This year was a huge disappointment for a number of reasons. 1) For the price we pay per night, we did not expect to be micro-managed by having the thermostat locked, so that it could not be set below a certain temperature. We were miserably hot at night, and the condo was stuffy. For safety purposes and for our security, we are not going to leave the sliding door open, and we should not have to when there is a perfectly acceptable heating and cooling system. We are adults that are perfectly capable of controlling our own thermostat to a reasonable level. We should not have to be punished for the idiots who came before us. 2) The mattress must’ve been purchased in 1980, because I don’t know if they make that type anymore. When my husband and I got into bed, we literally rolled into each other into the middle. The squeak was so loud, that if I breathed or moved to put my phone on the nightstand, he woke up. Combine that to the fact that it was hot, and it made for some horrible nights with lack of sleep. 3) The couch needed to be replaced, because once you sat down, you needed assistance to get out of it. 4) The coffee maker...well, it wasn’t a Keurig like all of the other Sea Cabins we’ve rented...so although we brought the coffee we needed and already had on hand, we still had to make a run to the store to purchase more. Cha-Ching $$! Not to mention it took 15 minutes to make a small pot. 5) If the owners of this unit cannot afford to update it with a new mattress and allow the renters the freedom to adjust their own thermostat, maybe they need to learn how to budget this extra income better. Five days of ****** sleep, back pain, and a slow coffee maker that didn’t even brew what we drink? What a huge disappointment after setting aside vacation time and extra money. So much for that relaxing getaway we needed so desperately after a truly difficult

We love the location and are generally happy with the Island Reality staff with regards to ease of check in and cleanliness of the property. This was our 2nd stay at 243C and, while we would recommend it in general, the bed is not comfortable and would need to be replaced before we would stay there again.We appreciate the shoe tray and rug at the door to help with sand and the unit is well appointed overall. We would rate the condition of this unit at 4 stars but used a 3 star rating in this review due to common area issues with boardwalks and handrails between the building and the beach.
