I made no mention of having air conditioning, and am sorry that you had formed that impression. In the summer, the lake across the street from the home provides for a scenic vacation. This house has one bedroom upstairs (queen bed), with bunk beds in the loft, as well as an additional twin. The house has a full bath on the first floor. There is a washer/dryer, dishwasher, woodstove, and DirecTV. The unit is adjacent to my 5 bedroom unit, listing ID for HomeAway is 115754. Some groups have rented both spaces together." I will update the description to include the reference to the lack of air conditioning. I try to provide full disclosure to renters, as their experience is the driver of success on VRBO through their reviews. The details are important. Regarding your comments about the lack of privacy... I try to inform others by including the listing number and referencing the additional rental on the premises in my property description that this is not the only rental on premises. I'm sorry if that wasn't more clear. This was a larger than normal group with 8 adults and 6 kids under 5 yrs old. The dock on the property is associated with the 5 bedroom house rental, and I called them prior to your arrival to see if they were open to sharing, and they obliged, saying they were excellent at sharing! I hope the swimming area helped provide some relief to keep things cooler. As for the soaps, It sounds to me like the oppressive heat may have made the soap a more watery consistence. I did pass along your feedback to the cleaning team to ensure that the dispensers are addressed. I use a bulk container of Soft Soap to replenish the soap dispensers, and the cleaners are generally on top of the refills. I'll take your suggestion and try to have a variety of soaps, both bar and body washes, in the event that someone forgets to pack theirs in the future. - Jim Dearden
