Welcome to your perfect getaway - nestled on a peaceful hilltop with sweeping valley views, this spacious retreat comfortably accommodates up to 12. Whether to unwind in the private hot tub under the stars, relax in the cedar sauna with a full glass front facing the valley, or work remotely in the private office with fast Starlink internet, this home has it all.

We also welcome your fur family, with a fenced dog park on the premises where they can enjoy refreshing outdoor time.

Our pet fee is $150 per stay for a maximum of 2 pets. This covers convenience and extra cleaning.

You may occasionally notice another vehicle passing by, as a cottage used as a long-term rental shares the front gate and private road with the house. Rest assured, you’ll have the entire house and all its amenities completely to yourself to relax and enjoy.

Beautiful views and spacious home with lots of amenities. The host was helpful and responsive. It’s about an hour and 20 min drive to either entrance of Yosemite and 15-20 to town with shops and restaurants. Couldn’t have been more centrally located to our destination for hiking Yosemite and visiting Mariposa Grove.

Great place and stay

Amazing time here, campfire area is awesome, rooms are nice. Only complaint is that it’s pretty far from everything, specifically the Yosemite park lines, but if close proximity is not your priority, you’re getting great bang for your back here.

From the drive up, we were in heaven. This place had everything to make a vacation pleasantly memorable. The beds were nice, kitchen fully stocked, super clean and the view was spectacular. Not one thing could have heightened our experience. Take the entire family. You won’t want anyone to miss out.

Did not dissappoint

The host sent us instructions before hand so finding the house and checking in was a breeze. The home was stunning! It had everything we needed for a family of 10. The kids did not want to leave! Would definitely recommend!!!

Hilltop retreat was very clean & comfortable. Everything we needed was available to us. The outdoor living space was exceptional. Our entire group was very happy, from morning coffee on the back deck to the evening sunset views. It was wonderful!

Beautiful Home and View!

The home and property are truly outstanding! The view from the deck and hot tub is unbelievable. The night sky was so clear we could see more stars than you could count. The kitchen had everything we needed plus we were able to use the regular and flattop grills. The hosts were quick to respond to any questions. I would definitely recommend this home!

Family and friends trip

What a beautiful home with amazing view!! The home is recently remodeled and the owners really paid attention to detail. The kitchen - bathrooms and bedrooms are very welcoming and are stocked with what you need for a trip. I recommend having a cold drink and enjoy the amazing sunsets.. morning coffee at the back patio is relaxing as well, the whole family and friends groups enjoyed the stay. The communication with host was easy and they took care of any need that we had, highly recommend this stay. 🍻 cheers

Yosemite Family Trip

I cant say enough about our great experience at this property. The house is recently remodeled and is beautiful😍 The sunset in the back patio area by the photos does not do it justice - every sunset was beautiful and will not disappoint. Had a cold drink in the evening and morning coffee on that deck - the interior remodel had everything we needed and all the rooms had a unique touch. Loved them! I took advantage of the work station - monitor hook up that saved me and great view out of that window - saw some deer early morning. I hope to go back next summer and extend the days - thank you to a great host and communication is awesome! Thank you Anne

HillTop Retreat

The house was lovely & the deck views are amazing. The dog park is not great due to the lack of water to keep it green & insects & critters. While walking across the front yard to the dog park area, our dog & our shoes picked up many burrs. Not a big issue but Anne was not happy to hear about burrs on the property. We always strive to leave the rental in a clean condition & we did pay the fee to have a dog on the property but Anne felt the need to nick pick me via text messages after we checked out at 10:00 am until 2:00 pm when I decided to no longer view her rude text messages. She accused us of having dog hair in all the beds which is completely untrue. Our dog was only in one bedroom & the dog bed was used. She even sent pictures of the fur to prove her point. If you allow dogs there will be fur which is easily cleaned up with a vacuum or some tape. Why harass your guests? Other issues with the management was an open key box, open supply closet, security camera left charging in the kitchen, air conditioning not turned on for our arrival, an open bathroom window with no screen causing two days of bugs in our bedroom.

Hello again Gail! I'd like to take a minute to respond to some comments in your review, as i believe it is important to be transparent and honest to other potential guests. I apologize for the misunderstanding that you thought I was upset about "burrs" (native weeds/ but not burrs) or that you felt I was "harassing' you. I never want guests to feel that way, and am concerned that you did. Per our conversation- I stated multiple times that the dog hair on all the furniture and beds was not a problem and that we wouldn't be giving you a lower rating or extra charges because of it. I only stated that I must have forgotten to ask that you not let your pet on the furniture or beds, and apologized. You contacted me via phone text following your stay to explain the negative experience you had here, and I did my best to lighten the mood by explaining that bugs, gopher mounds, weeds and the lack of green grass in the summer are all out of our control. I did not contact you, nor was it my intent to cause you to feel harassed. It is extremely helpful to mention any uncomfortable details during your stay so that your host can have the opportunity to help you. We strive to provide our guests with a positive and enjoyable stay, which our many other reviews can attest to that. I truly wish you had a better experience, despite our efforts to accommodate your requests. Regarding the a/c- we do not leave it running 24/7 for multiple days between guests, but I do try to turn it on the day of arrival. Unfortunately, I was out of town that day and failed to turn it on before your arrival- I apologize for that inconvenience. We whole-heartedly thank you for your feedback and wish you all the best in your future travels, take care.
