Great Property

We had a great time using Beth’s house as our headquarters for our Yosemite trip. She was very helpful from the beginning and promptly replied to all of our messages. The house met all of our needs and was a nice 35 minute drive to the valley.

Great house. Central to Yosemite Valley and Mariposa Grove with house located atop mountainside. Host was responsive when we had a minor issue. Grill was clean!

Worth it

In the grand scheme of things, all the little oddities do not make this a really nice place to stay. The owner was very responsive and a few minor issues would not stop us from coming back here. Staying in the park is a real benefit (well technically not IN the park, but inside the entry gates) and very much worth it

Trees Snow and Fresh Air

This is wonderful property in a great location. Plenty of room for the 7 of us. Many properties will say they sleep 8, but only have chairs and plates for 6. This property had a very well stocked kitchen, including pots, pans, a slow cooker, great coffee maker, etc. It also had enough plates and chairs for all of us. The deck has a beautiful view and the house is set down from the road a bit so it is nice and quiet. We even had some snow. Beth was easy to communicate with and thebcheck in process was a breeze. We will definitely stay here again.

Wonderful location within Yosemite

We had a great stay and the property had a great location within Yosemite park. It is about halfway between Yosemite valley and Mariposa Grove, and close to the road up to Glacier point. The 3 bedrooms were perfect for our group and the kitchen was well stocked with cookware.

Great location

Nothing in the park is easy to get to, but it was nice being in the park so we didn't have the added hassle of getting in and out. Also put us much closet to the valley which was nice.

Yosemite Holiday

We loved this Yosemite retreat. The chalet was perfect, with a comfortable living and dining space, including a deck in the treetops. Our bathrooms and bedrooms were spotless, the beds comfortable, the location waa quiet and the chalet was a perfect starting and ending point for our day trips hiking and exploring Yosemite. Wonderful

Yosemite West Retreat

What a beautiful property! Beth, thanks so much for maintaining such a wonderful cabin in a beautifully secluded neighborhood. Our stay was so relaxing and peaceful. Nestled in the forest among all those trees is a blessing. We saw a bear crossing the road as we drove up to the cabin and deer upon leaving.. Hope we can come back in the future!

A gem 💎 in Yosemite

Beautiful home with everything you need and more. Responsive and helpful hosts. Very well stocked kitchen. Large washer dryer. Quiet location. Nicer than most accommodations in Yosemite by far. Very firm mattresses but we all slept well. Modern updated utilities. We would definitely come back and stay again.

Perfect location inside Yosemite

We had an absolutely wonderful time in Yosemite, and this property was perfect for our group. The deck is lovely for morning coffee, the beds are very comfortable, and the kitchen and linens are well stocked. The owner was very accessible for communication, and the directions we received as our stay approached were accurate and helpful. Would absolutely stay again.

Outstanding!

Our family of 4 just stayed at this amazing property for 3 nights. Everything about the home was perfect and just as pictured/described. We cooked every night in the well stocked kitchen, enjoyed the outside deck where we saw a beat on our first day! I will be honest- we were on the fence becoming of the price but have zero regrets. Being inside the park made it worth every penny! The other properties we considered outside of the park would have been quite inconvenient Added bonus was that Beth was very responsive and helpful. Would highly recommend.

Fantastic home base for Yosemite vacation!

The home is located in a great area within the park. We were very impressed with the stocking of equipment in the kitchen, and the views were great. As many have said, the beds are very firm, however with the amount of walking you do in Yosemite, we slept fine. Being able to get up each morning and head deeper into the park without driving an hour through entrances is a huge plus. We even were able to go back into the valley multiple times in the same day and have an afternoon to relax and nap in the house. Highly recommend!

Beautiful house

This is a beautiful house, tucked away in a community in the woods in Yosemite West. Views through the gorgeous windows are all forest. Great location near the road to Glacier Point, which is still closed in April. Close to tunnel view and about 20-30 min drive to Yosemite Valley. Caution that the drive to the valley is a very winding, narrow road with a drop off on one side. One night was very foggy coming back from dinner at the Ahwahnee so I wouldn't recommend cocktails out. My only issue with the house is that they provide very little. There is toilet paper, hand and dish soap, salt and pepper. We were lucky and there was some leftover coffee filters. For a house of this quality (and cost) it would be nice to at least have body soap for shower, maybe let people leave some cooking oil? Also, I'm happy to clean up, but asking people to squeegee the shower when there is a significant cleaning fee is beyond a guest responsibility. Otherwise we really enjoyed our stay.

Perfect

What a lovely home in a great location! We stayed for three nights, and the house was a lovely place to start and end each day at the park. It is very comfortable and impeccably clean, and the location is ideal. Highly recommended. We hope to have the chance to stay again someday!!

Amazing Stay

We had a lovely stay here in Yosemite West. We have always stayed in Wawona, so being this close to the valley was a bonus. The house is beautiful. The great big windows make it so light in the house. Very comfy beds and the most coffee maker types I have ever scene. I wish we were staying longer so I could try one a day. We would definitely stay here again. Hosts were super responsive and nice.

Comfortable and clean!

This house is gorgeous and immaculate! We loved staying right in Yosemite. This is our first visit here and everything was perfect! Keep in mind there are a few steps down to the house. We were all so impressed by this house! Exactly as described.

We built this home in 2007. We live in Yosemite 9 months out of the year and enjoy climbing and hiking. I find it to be one of the most beautiful places in the world. My home in Yosemite West is located at about 5500' making the temperatures in the summer very pleasant.
