An entire private building steps from the Marina Puerto Los Cabos, available to one group. Three complete 3-bedroom suites across three floors, with a private pool and rooftop terrace that no one outside your party can access.
Tormenta opened in summer 2024 and was built with larger groups in mind — the kind of trips where families want shared space but also their own floors, or where a fishing crew needs a real base of operations, not a hotel block. With nine bedrooms, three independent kitchens, and enough living space for 18 people to occupy the building without feeling stacked on top of each other, it handles a wide range of group configurations.
The interiors are consistent across all three floors: travertine tile, mahogany cabinetry, granite countertops, gas ranges, and queen beds in every room. The coastal artwork — marlin prints, ceramic fish, anchor details — ties the levels together. Each floor has its own character: the ground suite (101) has the most traditional Baja presence, with wrought iron window grilles and a bedroom that opens to a covered outdoor patio. The second floor (202) is spacious and social, with the building`s most comfortable living room configuration and a solid walnut primary bedroom. The third floor (303) is the standout — frosted glass panels between curved plaster columns in the living area, a granite breakfast bar with leather barstools, and the building`s best bathroom: a full open-entry travertine shower with a ceiling-mounted rain head.
Two third-floor bedrooms share a private balcony looking out over a wide palm canopy, with the Sea of Cortez visible at the horizon.
The rooftop is where the building earns its location. A full bar, outdoor grill, and lounge seating fill the space, with views that simultaneously take in the ocean, the marina, the city of San José del Cabo, and the sierra to the north. The private pool sits just below — accessible only to Tormenta guests.
The Marina Puerto Los Cabos is a short walk away — fishing charters, waterfront restaurants, water taxis. The Art District and downtown are a few minutes further, and on Thursday evenings the weekly Art Walk brings the neighborhood out in full.
As with every ESCAPE to CABO stay, dedicated concierge support is available to coordinate each aspect of your visit—from airport transportation and grocery pre-stocking to private chefs, in-villa spa services, restaurant reservations, and curated local experiences.
