Sunrise Retreat, Welcome to a stunning four-level haven nestled in a gated community on South Grand Lake. This exceptional property, designed by a talented interior decorator, offers breathtaking lake views from the front and serene pond and courtyard views from the back.

Outdoor Living: Multiple porches enhance your experience, including a main-level outdoor covered patio with a gas fireplace and plush furniture. The lower level features a cozy gas fire pit with additional comfy seating.
Community Amenities: Enjoy the community swimming pool and explore the iconic 3-story lighthouse with a 180-degree view of the lake. The community also boasts fishing ponds, streams, and waterfalls for a tranquil experience.
Conveniences: Lake and dock access is easily accessible via an electric tram. There are 3 boat docks available for guest to park their boats on the outside of docks, the covered boat slips are owned and occupied by homeowners and not available for guests. Within 3 miles, discover a variety of restaurants, and just 1/4 mile away, find a grocery store, liquor store, and hardware store for your convenience.
Whether you're gathering with family or friends, Sunrise Retreat promises a luxurious stay with unparalleled comfort and style, all set against a backdrop of natural beauty. Very beautiful home with plenty of bedrooms & bathrooms for the 14 of us! Great location to docks. Located in a cute gated community. Very easy to check-in and everything is covered in their app. Would definitely stay there again!

Great place for family holiday. We have stayed at a lot of different places and this house was by far the best stocked. Plenty of towels. Great kitchen with plenty of pots and pans. Loved everyone having their own bathroom.

We had a fantastic time at our Girl's weekend in February. This house is absolutely beautiful, and the host is very responsive. We had everything we needed and enjoyed the home's layout- especially the open kitchen, the outdoor spaces and the game room. The host provided us with an information packet that included a referral for a local Chef to prepare our meals. She was fantastic and the food was amazing- highly recommend!!!

Our family of 22 enjoyed our stay at this property. It accommodated our family well. It was very hot and humid so we spent a lot of our time inside and it never felt crowded. The only comments we have is that we feel the house wasn't as clean as it could be. Nothing over the top but just a lack of detail, specifically with the floors. Communication was good, but the cleaner had not been made aware that we had purchased the late check out. It wasn't a big problem and she was very nice. When something happened with the refrigerator and we lost food, Mike was kind enough to offer a discount for our next booking at this property. I appreciate the ease of communication and the detailed information regarding the property and the community

At GLVR we always appreciate our guests feedback. We take cleanliness very seriously so much that we add it to our rental agreement that if guests are not to pleased with the condition of the property, they may contact us and we will send our cleaners to correct any issues. We communicated with David’s wife several times and cleanliness was not mentioned.

Some of the bedrooms were kind of dusty. But everything else was nice and clean and decorated very nice. Loved the back porch. Great place but I wouldn’t recommended for seniors. Lot and lots of stairs. Not a very good supply of wash clothes, but had plenty of towels. The kitchen was stocked with anything you would need to cook with and eat with Not much of a view of the lake. Was not a fan of the swimming pool. The host was very friendly and there to solve any problems we had.

This property is an absolute gorgeous property that deserves a 5 star review. The listing is 100% accurate and if it didn’t fit Sheila’s needs in regard to seniors or the pool she should have asked questions or reviewed the listing closer. Sheila agreed to notify us with any issues when she signed the RA such as dust or wash clothes at arrival and we would address the issues but these items were not mentioned. Overall we would host Sheila again but would need to have a conversation about expectations.
