NEWLY RENOVATED! Enjoy a peaceful stay at Open Sky Farm in a charming, ranch-style, one-level duplex in Crossville. One of our favorite features is the Nigerian Dwarf Goat petting farm right in the backyard! Relax on our enormous back deck and watch the goats graze on the pasture.

The bedrooms include a king bed master suite has a smart TV, and an attached office/dressing room, a queen bedroom has a smart TV, and a sitting area, and twin-sized bunk bedroom. The spacious master bathroom will make you feel like a day at the spa! Both bathrooms are fully equipped with even a spare toothbrush just in case!

Amenities include a messaging sofa, blue-tooth speakers in both bathrooms, laundry room with iron, full house water filtration, AC & heating with UV light for sanitation, smart TVs, free WiFi, a full kitchen with a coffee bar, an oversized shared back deck with a grill, lounge space, dining table, and a jacuzzi. Open Sky Farm is the perfect place to relax and unwind with the refreshing feel of the country, yet just minutes from town.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was spacious for our family, and the beds were comfortable. Shannon focused on hospitality and had pretty much everything we needed. Communication was great. We will definitely stay here again.

Our few days staying here was great. Enjoyed the open space indoors and out. Great master bedroom area. Even used the office nook for my workspace during our stay. If we are in the area again i definitely come back and enjoy the goats more. Thank you

We approached front door to see a welcoming sign directed to our family! This property was exactly as described. Very family oriented with bedrooms, baths, kitchen and family rooms pristine!Property location was close to Crossville and great for our many day trips in eastern Tennessee. Our hosts were perfect.

Nigerian Goat Farm

This was a great place for a family vacation, truly felt like a home away from home. All of the linens, towels, soaps, were well stocked, much more than expected from a VRBO. They had books, some kids toys, and awesome tourist guides and recommendations to make our stay feel very welcome and engaging. We highly recommend and would definitely stay again.

Fun on the farm

My family had a great time staying at the goat farm. Very scenic, fun seeing and feeding the goats. Place was very cute and comfortable and we had everything we needed. Shannon is a great host! We will definitely stay again!!

Fabulous views and accommodations

Loved this place! We had views and a most comfortable stay. Loved all the little touches in the kitchen, bathroom and bedrooms. Great communication and lovely porch. The goats were adorable! We especially enjoyed being out of town. Would go back for sure! Top notch accommodations!

Such a Gem in a Great Location

My family has stayed in vacation rentals all over the world. This place was by far the best equipped and had the most thoughtful touches of any rental we have ever stayed at. It felt like home, on top of that it was spotless. Communication with the owner was quick and amazingly helpful. If we ever get back to the area, we will stay there again. It is a perfect place for families.

Wonderful place

Stayed only for the weekend but definitely hope to be back for a longer stay in the future. The place is in a beautiful location and the goats are a great addition to the stay. This place had everything we needed and more. Super clean! The owners were a pleasure to meet. There was a volleyball net that we hoped to try out but didn’t have the time. Would absolutely recommend this place to anyone! Perfect stay!

Lovely location in middle Tennessee

The house was very well stocked and maintained. You can tell that the owners went above and beyond to make sure everything was there. We had the pleasure of having coffee on the back porch with the owners of the property in the morning as this house is a duplex. Our girls loved the goats. Very pet friendly.

The property is beautiful and has all the amenities needed with some really awesome touches! Checking in and out where easy peasy! Would’ve been five stas, but a miss communication on check out and the fact there was a miss communication on one of the outdoor activities that caused us to feel uncomfortable to use it. You need to be more transparent.

My name is Shannon Palik, I have been married to my husband Brian for 23 years, and together we have three children. We moved to Crossville from Maryland and love the plateau breeze & long seasons. We began breeding Nigerian Dwarf Goats a decade ago. These goats, known for their playful nature and vibrant colors, produce milk that is thick, creamy, and closely resembles cow's milk. We usually have baby kids running around during the summer.

Experience the charm of Open Sky Farm, a beautifully renovated home nestled in the Cumberland Homesteads Historic District. This inviting retreat offers three spacious bedrooms and two full bathrooms, comfortably accommodating up to six guests with a king bed, a queen bed, and two twin beds. You can sip your coffee on the oversized covered deck while watching the playful Nigerian Dwarf Goats graze on the pasture or even meet them up close and personal and feed them with the provided grain.
