Great stay!
When we arrived the staff was very pleasant and ready to help! They took our bags, directed us appropriately and were clear on all directions/rules/pricing. It was AWESOME to be able to valet the car right at the hotel! During check-in, Ben & Jerry’s ice cream was free to all resort guests, which was an unexpected treat, especially for the kids. There was also a weekly menu of other free offerings during our stay, including cocktails! The suite was large enough, especially for the city. The kitchen had everything we needed during our stay, although the dishwasher was tricky to figure out. As for the beds, the King in the bedroom was comfortable; my husband and I slept well. However, the pullout sofa seemed the opposite. Our 16yo didn’t sleep well on that, saying that she felt the bars under the mattress all night. So our 12yo ended up on the pullout while she did the air mattress for the rest of the stay. After the second night on the sofa, he felt it was uncomfortable too. As for the cleanliness, it seemed very well taken care of. Some “wear & tear” showed with small chips/cracks/nicks in the tub/sink/furniture, however the resort itself was very nice, including the entry, elevators and the 33rd floor guest lounge/outdoor space. We never made it to the complimentary gym and/or free laundry units, but appreciated that they were available. The location was FANTASTIC!! E45th and 3rd is great for getting to Grand Central (to take you anywhere), Central Park, shopping, etc!
