We are thrilled to offer our family-friendly home designed to meet your every need and ensure a comfortable stay. Nestled in the vibrant North of Grand neighborhood, our home is within walking distance to the finest restaurants and shops on Ingersoll Ave. Being centrally located right off the interstate, you will be able to reach anywhere in Des Moines within 10-15 minutes. Perfect for our weekend getaway. The tethered bedrooms were all very comfortable. Having one bedroom on the main floor was ideal with a bathroom right next door. They had a fun collection of games and a very comfy couch perfect for watching the big TV. The neighborhood was quiet and very close to everything you’d need in downtown Des Moines. Lovely and we felt right at home.

Excellent location - everything one needs to enjoy Des Moines!

We spent a weekend here to celebrate a birthday roadtrip with our dog. The location and neighborhood are great - conveniently located and peaceful! Lots of restaurants, grocery stores/market nearby. Check-in was simple! Would stay here again if we visit the area!

A short but happy stay

Beautiful place…clean.wide enough bedrooms and most importantly lots of space for our fur babies.We also liked it that it was in a quiet and safe neighborhood.Btw,Chris is an excellent host.would have stayed longer if the place wasn’t booked.We had a wonderful stay

Family trip

Great location to family who lives in Des Moines and the activities we planned. House was perfect size for our group and weather was nice so we could enjoy the yard and basketball. House had a pack and play and high chair for us too!Host was easy to communicate with and responded quickly.

Repeat Stay

This is our second stay at this property and we were just as pleased. Nice location close to the highway, shops, and restaurants. Very close to downtown and several tourist sites. Our pup stayed with us this time and they had extra's accessible like dog treats and potty bags which was nice. Definitely will be back.

Great stay

My family came in town for Drake‘s family weekend and to watch my son‘s football game. It was a perfect location and stay for us. My 13 year old enjoyed shooting hoops out back. Would definitely book again.

Relaxing stay in Des Moines

We had a very good stay at this house. It was clean and comfortable and in a nice neighborhood. They even left us some dog treats! It was cold when we were in town, but I noticed a fire pit in the back yard that would be fun to use. I look forward to staying there again sometime.

Perfect Family Crashpad in Des Moines

House was cute and comfortable. Easy hop and off the interstate. Really appreciated the size of the house, it was for perfect for our group of 4 adults and 1 child. The outdoor area was well maintained and we really enjoyed using the firepit. Excellent communication from host ahead of check-in had us ready to go and they preemptively addressed any questions that would have come up.

Weekend stay

The house was centrally located to the baseball fields we were at for a tournament. The house was clean, had great space separation for our family and the outdoor basketball court was an added bonus during our downtime. The host was very responsive when we had questions. If you are looking for a comfortable house in a quiet neighborhood this is a great place.

Nice, clean 3 Bdrm home close to wedding venues

Charming house with lots of character indeed. Multi generational family stay with an infant. Plenty of room for all of us. We enjoyed the outdoor space. One downside was we would have liked MORE bath towels and wash cloths. Both bathrooms have been updated considering the age of the house. Kitchen was also updated. We picked the house for the location as it was close to a wedding venue, Willow on Grand.

Lovely Historic Property

We had a great stay in this historic property as we were in town to drop our son at college. It was perfect for our family and was set up nicely with several noticeable upgrades. My son enjoyed the basketball hoop which was a surprise. The neighborhood was quiet and charming. It was perfect for an evening walk where we passed several neighborhood Little Free Libraries (loved). Easy access to the interstate and downtown. Make the trip downtown for Malo it's excellent! We'd definitely stay again and highly recommend.

Perfect for our family

We stayed from Sunday night til Thursday. Our stay was great. The communication with the host was fantastic. He got back to us immediately any time we had a question. The location is perfect for access to the interstate and we had to go to Waukee everyday so it made it so easy. The flow of the house was perfect for us, the amount of bedrooms with the size of beds fit our family great and we’re very comfortable. It is a quiet street. It was just an overall great stay and we will definitely be staying there again in the future. Thanks again and we will be booking again soon!

We enjoyed our stay at this property! The house is spacious and inviting. Location was great! It’s close to many good restaurants and shops and also fairly near a freeway entrance, so you can get to other areas of town in a matter of minutes. The neighborhood is quiet and there is little traffic on the street where the house is located.The host is friendly and answered any questions promptly. We would definitely stay here again!
