MIDMOD ON SIXTH - Fun retro house downtown!

If you’re looking for a kitschy, fun experience with real vintage decor, you’ve found it! This 60's insurance agency, turned midcentury modern house, is located 1/2 block to main street- walk to food, shopping & FHSU! There are two bedrooms, and one bathroom all on one floor (no stairs!) with a walk in shower and vintage blue sink. Kitchen with coffee, cooking supplies and farm fresh eggs (in season). Cotton towels and sheets. Enjoy the vintage record player and and a madmen style bar set.

Enjoy something different during your travels! Most of the furniture and items in the house are real vintage pieces. All bedding sets are new and the sheets are 100% cotton so you sleep cool and comfortable. Each bedroom has a closet with extra blankets and an extra pillow.

The kitchen is stocked with basic cooking supplies, coffee, creamer and coffee maker. We have real vintage dishes for your use but also provide more modern dish options if you prefer. We also provide plastic ware for kids.

Enjoy the cotton towels and provided makeup towels and in shower wash cloths. Walk in shower and cute vintage sink! We supply body wash, shampoo and conditioner if you need.

The vintage record player is currently out of order but enjoy the teal suitcase record player on top! Try out a vintage record and come back and see what's new in the record collection.

Fantastic property with the best MCM vibe!

What a fab little MCM bungalow in a great location! Stunning authentic vintage decor, right down to the dishes and cocktail glassware collection. We enjoyed the easy walk to Main Street for dinner at Gella's Diner/Lb Brewing, which was incredible! Responsive host and super welcoming atmosphere. Highly reccomend this spot!

Spectacular!

Absolutely loved staying overnight at this charming home. Everything was clearly outlined and sleeping was truly comfortable. Loved all the retro decor! Thanks to the host for creating such a beautiful place to stay at. Was definitely a wonderful way to experience Hays, Kansas.

The house is very cute and well equipped. It is close to restaurants, even cold stone ice cream is within walking distance. The neighborhood is quiet. It was a very nice place to stay. The owners were very prompt responding to a minor question about parking

Stepped back in time!

We had such a great time at this place! We absolutely loved the Vibe and the area! It was perfect for us! Even had an impromptu photo shoot! Larrissa made check out extremely easy! Like the easiest check out ever! Also, we are filtered water people, and it was amazing having the pitcher there! Loved the back yard, i worked out there, listening to birds and enjoying both mornings. So much is walkable. We just loved the area!Thank you Larissa for making this such a great stay, and one we will remember forever.

Passing thru Kansas

This space was ideal for Party of 5 (with small child) wanting space to unwind that hotel doesn't provide unless your bedtime is same as child. It was clean and cute and we loved the player

Great spot to stay for an overnight visit. Small but very accommodating. The only complaints are that the front door is tough to open when putting in the code, and you have to make sure you hold the doorknob just right, pulling toward you while you put in the code. The bathroom door lock gets stuck, making it very difficult to get out of the bathroom.
