We had a lovely stay in this beautiful, quiet, secluded home. Suzanna was a most gracious hostess. Waking up each morning to the beautiful sunrise started us off on a wonderful day . The home has everything you want or need and is very comfortable. We look forward to having another visit there soon.

Beautiful property, peaceful, relaxing, excellent beds and shower. Wonderful attentive hosts. Dolphins viewed from the porch. We really enjoyed the spacious screened porch! Very welcoming for pets. Property seems altered compared to listing photos, an office area is shown in the photos. Our stay exceeded our expectations!

We had a fabulous stay at Susanna & Jim’s cottage. The house is beautifully decorated and the beds and furniture are very comfortable. It was outfitted with everything you could ever need. The sunrise views are stunning. We really appreciated their hospitality.

The view is amazing! We loved the grounds and the setting. The house is perfect for a couple who likes to cook. Well stocked kitchen and comfy bed. The location is very central. Suzanna was most helpful and responsive.

The hosts were very welcoming and attentive. The house was very clean with an amazing king size bed with a view of the marsh. I am going back many more times.

Excellent as always

Jim and Susanna’s property is nature at its best. Towering oaks shrouded with Spanish moss open up to reveal a beautiful coastal vista. Have stayed here often and have already reserved a week in the fall. You could not ask for more gracious hosts.

Quiet, Relaxing Vibe

This property was exactly what we needed. Quiet, off the beaten path, surrounded by beautiful Mother Nature with a gorgeous water view. My husband and I spent most of our time relaxing, reading and bird watching from the screened in front porch! We brought our puppy and had plenty of yard to walk her in. The owners live in the house on site and are extremely kind, thoughtful and welcoming humans. Our cell phones didn’t work, we streamed some football and had a nice, quiet weekend away together. Highly recommend! Thanks Susanna for sharing your piece of the world with us.

Beautiful place. Outstanding hosts. Fantastic porch.

A beautiful morning following a long evacuation trip from hurricane Milton welcomed us to Beaufort. Susanne and Jim’s retreat was exactly what we needed. The home overlooks a lovely bay and is surrounded by several ancient live oaks complete with the requisite Spanish moss. Inside, the open space living area is replete with a chef’s stove and a massive refrigerator. Susanne is quite an artist and has displayed her creativity in several multimedia works. The one bedroom and bath is more than adequate for a couple. The WiFi is excellent. For me, the highlight of the home is the huge (1000 sq. Ft.) wraparound screened in porch with two huge, very comfortable couches and a dining table that overlooks the bay. I would gladly rent that porch. Susanne and Jim are both very personable and easy to talk with. He is constantly working around the 5 acre property and is quick to ask if we have needs. She is an artist, an avid “birder” and a pleasant conversationalist. We totally enjoyed our stay and hated to depart.
