With breathtaking views, an expansive layout, and thoughtfully designed spaces, it offers the ultimate getaway on Shasta Lake.

It has a number of different rooms including two large master bedroom suites with walk in closets and full private baths, 5 bathrooms in all, large family room, dining room, and kitchen. It also has several other rooms including a den, a office, game & entertaining room, and a shop. Max of 6 adults per cou nty guidelines and 15 total. If this home does not work for you, we have 9 homes that are all on the same lakefront street where you can book two or three of them together. This provides the space but also some additional privacy when you need to get away for a while.

Great time of year to go to Shasta, so much to do, had great time.

Picked Lake Shasta for a family gathering to celebrate 50th anniversary. Retreat #19 was a great choice for a large group, plenty of room for everyone. Great view of the lake and easy access. Plenty of water toys and games to entertain all ages. The kitchen, even though small, is very well supplied. Lori, our contact, was very helpful and responded quickly with any questions we had. I would highly recommend Lake Shasta Resorts.

Beautiful family vacation house on Lake Shasta

Perfect house for a family vacation with plenty of space and sleeping arrangements. Having direct access to Lake Shasta along with kayaks and paddle boards was great for entertaining the family and kids. Location was fantastic! Not too far from McCloud falls and the Shasta Caverns. Boat launching was close. Overall it was a great stay and we will definitely be back. We had a blast! Thnks again

Great house, great location! We stayed for 3 nights with our church youth group and truly enjoyed our time here. The 3-story layout worked perfectly for us and made it easy to separate girls and guys on different floors. A couple of amenities didn’t work (such as the ice machine), but it didn’t take away from the overall experience. We would gladly stay here again

Decadent getaway!

This home was perfect for my retreat. My group loved the experience of staying here, being able to use the paddle boards, kayaks and hot tub made it feel extra special. The kitchen was well equipped. The beds were comfy. Overall, I would recommend this place.

Fantastic Location

My family and I really enjoyed our stay here! The house has so much space! Lori and Dave were extremely accommodating and immediate addressed any needs or concerns we had. The second kitchen downstairs was wonderful for our very large group! We are absolutely planning to stay again.

Great family gathering!

This was a perfect venue for our family of 17. We enjoyed the space in the home, the hot tub, the paddle boards and kayaks, the games, the big screen tv for one movie night and the well equipped kitchen for cooking for a crowd. A couple of our grandchildren said they wish we could live here together all year! We liked coming in the fall when the lake wasn’t busy but still warm enough to paddleboard and kayak.

We love to choose a home large enough to accommodate our large family which can be tricky especially as we like someplace on or near the water that is safe for kiddos. Retreat #19 met all our expectations and more. Lori was exceptionally helpful and available for any and all questions and needs.

This house is remarkable!

We have been return clients of Shasta Lakeshore Retreat year after year, and sometimes even twice in a year and have stayed in a few of their homes...Retreat #19 is definitely our favorite now! It was absolutely stunning and just suited every one of our groups needs. It was perfectly positioned on the lake and just such a great size. The porch and all of the outdoor areas were not only beautiful but also very functional. There were so many spots you could find to relax and enjoy the lake views. Many of our group would just stay up and cook, read or spend time rejuvenating up at the house while others played and boated out on the lake. That was part of this house being our favorite because it truly had something for everyone in our group and we all could stay connected with just a short ride on a golf cart, jeep or walk! We always book our next trip for the following summer as we are leaving so we have something to look forward to and this year is no different - this is a favorite annual trip for our longtime family friend groups and we can't wait to come back again. Thank you for taking such care in the homes you provide and such amazing service if things do come up. We appreciate it!

We have rented a bunch of homes around shasta lake and this one stands out over all of them. This house has amazing views of the almost full lake from the deck or anywhere in the living room. Lot of parking for boats and pickups. We pull our boats out every night because we do not like them beating against the docks when boats go buy. The waves cslan get pretty bad at right there, since is a high traffic area. We stack two 25 foot boats and pickups along the side of the house and stayed hooked up the entire time. Neighbor would stop by and talk and everyone of them was super awesome to talk to. Every room had its own bathroom and that is a game changer for a big group. Perfect shasta lake house. I would definitely get ot again if it is available. Oh and morning coffee and late night cocktails on the deck was beyond perfect.

Amazing Retreat

Our family is local to Redding California and as a tradition spends every Memorial Day weekend on Shasta Lake. This was our first stay with Shasta Lake retreats. It will not be our last. We were in Retreat 19 which I believe is the largest of the retreats. This home was incredible. The decor was done in a lake life vibe.. huge beautiful Windows of the A-frame overlooking the picturesque Lake.. the house was actually overstocked. We had everything we could imagine and more. They provided binoculars indoor games outdoor games water toys and more.. the booking process was easy.. questions were answered in a very timely manner.. I highly recommend Shasta Lakeshore retreats for your Shasta Lake vacation

Had a great July 4th Holiday with all of our children and grandchildren celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary!

We loved the property and had plenty of room for all 15 of us. Really helped that the teenage boys could stay in the lower part of the house; gave them privacy and us peace.

Retreat #19

This beautiful home was ours for almost a week. The rooms were very spacious. We definitely loved that there was an extra fridge in the lower living space. I would say the cons were that the main kitchen was so small for such a big house! We obviously made it work. And it would be nice if there was maybe one more large couch in the living room. In the evening time we would gather around in the living room to play games or karaoke but had to resort to sitting on the ground or pulling up the kitchen chairs. It was maybe less than a 5min walk to the lake and this was the first week of June. Weather and the lake temp was just perfect! The shore is very rocky, not beachy so bring the right shoes. I tried bringing a beach umbrella but really couldn’t use bc the ground was just so rocky. Overall we all had a wonderful time. Lori and Dave were very responsive. On the first day the kids told me they didn’t have enough of the correct paddles and I sent a text, next morning they had their people drop some off at the house! There was some miscommunication a couple of days before our trip (that could’ve totally ruined this vacation imo) but Lori was able to work with me after she and I spoke which I am very appreciative of. Some people can be very strict and just black and white on their house rules which I can understand. But thank you Lori, thank you for being human. My whole family including my fur babies had an amazing time!
