Great location

We loved our stay at Seawind! A few steps out the door to watch the sunrise over the marina and a short walk to a private beach for the sunset. Ahhhh!! A few restaurants within a longer walk and many options a short cab ride away. The studio was perfect! Everything we needed to make a simple breakfast and get a great rest. Highly recommend!

A true home away from home - great place to stay and lovely hostess! Will definitely stay again!

Wagwan! I can't say enough good things about this place. First, the owner of the property, Petronia, is extremely sweet and accommodating. From the moment we booked the property until the day we left to go home, Petronia was great with communicating with us and answered all of our questions promptly. While in Montego Bay, she went above and beyond and gave us a ride to and from the airport, as well as let us know of great places to visit, eat, and shop. She also checked in periodically to make sure we had everything we needed. The property itself is very nice – clean, modern, and perfect for couples. It has your essentials – bed, couch, tv, etc. – all tastefully decorated. There is an average-sized bathroom with a standup shower. Petronia also left small toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, lotion, toothpaste) for us, which was great since we had to pack light. The kitchenette is fully equipped with a coffee maker (and coffee, cream, sugar, etc.), microwave, stove, cups, plates, eating utensils, pots and pans, a high-top table with stools, and even a couple of bottled waters and Red Stripes in the refrigerator. The studio also has a ceiling fan and an air conditioner. The complex the studio sits in is very safe and quiet. There is a pool and a great view of the bay just yards from the front door of the studio. There is a front gate that is monitored by very polite people. We also got access to the Seawind Beach Club, which is less than a quarter mile away, where there is a beautiful and quiet beach, food and drink for sale, and the staff are extremely nice and accommodating. It was very easy to get around to different parts of Montego Bay – taxis were plentiful right outside of the front gate. This place is truly a home away from home and we will definitely be back to stay here again! Jah Mon!

Great apartment!

Well appointed apartment in a residential apartment community. Great for those, like myself, that don’t want a resort style vacation but still want the safety and convenience while on vacation. Comfortable bed, plenty of towels, and Petronia is great about answering any questions in a timely manner. I would stay here again!

Great spot to stay if you are looking to do your own thing

A great spot to stay when you want to go out and see the sights. Easy to find and felt very safe. The security around the area was great. The pool is awesome and was a nice way to unwind. The accommodation was great. Everything we needed, with a nice welcome in the fridge of some goodies. Clean and ample towels etc.

Wonderful getaway, excellent location, hospitality at its finest!

Petronia’s condo was perfect for the two of us. She had everything we needed to make a memorable vacation. We chose this rental for vacation with beach days, excursions, exploring and adventures in mind. It was perfect! We intended to start our mornings with coffee and a light breakfast at the condo and that was perfect. We made dinner at home a couple of nights and enjoyed the pool and the property of the complex. The sitting area by the pool was perfect for relaxing and enjoying the sounds of the birds and pleasant people. The location was great with several places within walking distance. You can walk to restaurants and access to the Hard Rock beach/pool/restaurant. We always felt safe and welcome. The security guards for the condo were always present and very friendly. We highly recommend Chukka for excursions while there. They do provide transportation as well. Everyone is friendly and wants you to enjoy your time. They showed us exceptional service. I am very happy to have had the opportunity to meet Petronia. She is very generous with her time and her hospitality was immeasurable. She provided great restaurant recommendations and excellent recommendations for beaches. She absolutely made our trip memorable. If you don’t need room service and someone else to make your bed and coffee each day and you’re the adventurous type, Petronia’s place is perfect for you. You can’t pass this place up!

Everything Great!

Everything about this unit and the owner was fantastic and I echo all the comments in the other 5 star reviews. I was there for 4 nights earlier this month on my first visit to Jamaica. Petronia was there to welcome me and show the unit. It was still two hours before check in and I was prepared to sit by the pool reading but the unit was ready for arrival. I had asked in an email about nearest grocery store and she set a time later in the day and drove me there and waited while I shopped! Throughout my few days there she was very helpful with information and arrangements including transport to my next stop in Jamaica. All in all a wonderful person and host. I did not have a rental car but cabs were plentiful outside the front gate and at the resort across the road. However I was primarily content to enjoy the facilities at the complex or the beach at the Hard Rock Cafe. Immediately next to the complex is the Montego Bay Yacht Club. The food and atmosphere there made for very enjoyable meals. Also ate at the Hard Rock. Overall, the complex was quiet and well maintained with a manager and staff there and a guard at the entry gate. It is a mixture of permanent residents, seasonal owners, long term rentals, and short term such as this. The pool is a short distance from the unit. As mentioned by others, the unit itself has a very nice decor and layout with a full kitchen. Bathroom was a reasonable size with a large shower area. Petronia has supplied it very well in the kitchen and throughout the unit with numerous small touches such as amenities in the bathroom and some welcome items in the refrigerator (beer, water,soda!). There is a lockbox at the entrance that can be used for the key when going out to the beach or pool or upon arrival if she isn't immediately available due to her job. I was impressed that in addition to the standard smoke alarm, there was also a carbon monoxide detector. WiFi was strong all week and although I didn't watch tv, I checked and the cable system has a large number of channels including the major US networks.This is an end unit and as a result. it has it's own small patio area in front. with a small table and chairs. It is nicely screened by bushes and a stairwell creating a nice sense of privacy. As soon as I submit this, I'm sure I'll remember more that I wanted to comment on. But to wrap up, it is an excellent choice and Petronia is the perfect host. I just wish I had stayed longer. I look forward to returning!

Comfortable studio apartment with pool in beautiful, quiet surroundings.

This Montego Bay Studio was just what we wanted - a great place to relax, refresh and rejuvenate following other travel so we could attend our nephew's wedding nearby. But the studio was just the beginning. Petronia, the property owner, went above and beyond in MANY ways: providing transportation for us to and from the airport, providing a local phone to use; some beverages were available in the refrigerator and coffee and tea in the cupboard. When the WiFi wasn't working she quickly called the provider to have the service reset and then it worked perfectly. Petronia was very friendly and helpful - would have helped us get groceries, too. The location is super - near the Hard Rock Cafe and beach with a pass provided to use their facilities. The Yacht Club has great food and is right next door - and you have a pass key to gain access when you want. We were so pleased and will contact Petronia if we return to Montego Bay!

Amazing stay in this beautiful studio apartment!

First impression, nice, quiet secured community located by the boat docks. Property kept very clean, beautiful pool and bar area, lots of parking and easy access to transportation resources. But the hospitality of Petronia was unmatched! She accommodated us very well, apartment was just as beautiful as the pictures, all of the essentials were provided and they were of very good quality. She was already at the apartment once we arrived, made us feel welcomed, made sure we had everything we needed and always made herself available to communicate with. I would highly recommend this place to others and I will definitely be back. Thank you Petronia!

The property was well maintained and clean. Everything was as advertised and people were friendly.

Petronia was wonderful. She made sure that me and my wife got to and from the airport on time. She also provided helpful local information and recommended places to eat, shop, and explore. She even stocked the refrigerator with complimentary drinks and took us by the grocery store for supplies. There were also complimentary toiletries and towels. Petronia made our stay great: she recommended drivers; she gave us the going rates for goods and services; and made the overall experience fantastic. In short, Petronia was punctual, professional, and helpful. We will use her services again.

Clean, quiet and well located!

This is a great room especially when you consider the cost and the wonderful owner! Petronia makes sure you have all you need to make your trip comfortable and relaxing. The pool is steps away and you get Hard Rock beach access within a 1.5 city block walk. I have no question of where my next stay will be when I return to MoBay! Great Jamaican vacation spot!

Great spot! Great host in Petronia! She takes awesome care of her guests, and not only gave us a ride from and to the airport, but stopped at a grocery store so we could shop. She also provided us a cell phone so we could stay in touch. Location is clean, quiet and well kept. Pool is steps away and the additional perk of the beach at the Hardrock Café is great. Overall this is an excellent location to choose and won't break your budget. Highly recommended by this traveling couple! Thanks Petronia!

Quiet, calm retreat

The owner, Petronia, was a delight and did everything to make sure our stay was just right. The room was not extravagant but very nice and comfortable. Petronia even picked us up from the airport when we arrived and delivered us to the cruise terminal when we left. She also gave us a simple cell phone to use while we were there. We will definitely contact her again if we go back to Jamaica.

Petronia and Mike were amazing. They went above and beyond to make our vacation a success. ThankYou!

We were very pleased. Very clean room, pool, BBQ and a beautiful yard and sitting area. 24 hour managed security gate. Petronia picked us up from the airport and took us back. Petronia and Mike took us grocery shopping. When our TV controller didn't work Mike was right there to get it fixed. We had school supplies for the kids, Petronia took us to the school. They gave us a local phone to use and put minutes on it. We were across the street from the beach. Taxi's right outside the gate. Fishermen on the docks were amazing. We went on a couple tour's and our guide was awesome. Food prices were a little higher than we were use to but having our own kitchen helped alot. Doctors Cove Beach is awesome. Rocks Cafe was awesome. 7 mile beach was great, except the people pushing the marijuana and there goods. YS Falls on Black River is a must to see. Crocodile's tour on Black River was very exciting. South beach was Amazing. We went to craft markets, bought fruit's, veggies and fish from Local road side vendors wagons. We will be back. Thank You.

Clean and comfortable with the convenience of walking outside to the pool. Perfect size for 3 of us!

Great little studio with a pullout couch. It has a fridge/freezer, and a little stove with oven. There are pots and frying pans but no baking dishes, but we just used tin foil and that worked fine. The owner supplied all the toiletries and some refreshments in the fridge, which was a nice touch. There was also coffee, tea and sugar to use if you wanted. There were plenty of bathroom towels and a few pool towels to use. There is a laundry service available but you have to pay. It's only a couple of dollars and you can get change from the office. The pool is just outside the door and so is the pool washrooms which is also handy. The beach is very close by. You just go to the Hard Rock Cafe that's just a short walk down the street. The Yacht Club is also next door if you want to go for a great meal. The owner is very accommodating, so if you have a question or need anything you can email her and she gets back to you very quickly. She also leaves a phone that you can use for local calls. Overall we had a great stay and would definitely be back!

The Seawind Studio was absolutely amazing and exceeded all of our expectations!

I had the pleasure of staying a the Seawind Studio with my daughter recently. It couldn't have been a more perfect experience for us from check-in to check-out! The apartment is located at the Seawind on the Bay property, which is a lovely gated community that has a relaxed, comfortable atmosphere. We also have access to the private Seawind Beach Club, which has a beautiful restaurant, pool and beach area. The apartment grounds include a central garden area, outdoor club house with plenty of seating and a large area for relaxing around the perfectly maintained swimming pool. We especially enjoyed daily walks throughout the property which is loaded with orchids, flowering plants and mango trees. The property is located near the Yacht Club Marina, so we looked forward to watching the boats coming and going each day. The Seawind Studio is a first floor apartment with a small patio that is surrounded by large flowering bougainvillea plants and has a cute table for two just outside the front door. The Seawind Studio Owner, Petronia welcomed us at check-in and was beyond helpful and gracious! She gave us a quick tour at arrival to make sure we had everything we possibly needed, including a local cell phone loaded with minutes for our convenience. The studio is organized so well that it feels like a much larger space. Not only was the apartment very clean, but every inch of the apartment is freshly remodeled and has brand new furniture, fixtures, decor, a very comfortable mattress and a flat screen television. We really appreciated the the large closet and all of the dresser space. The granite countertops and natural stone tile floors throughout the apartment give the space a luxury feel. We were also very happy with the cable TV stations and WIFI. The decor is new, fresh and tasteful. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything we needed for cooking, including a coffeepot, electric teapot, pots and pans, utensils and plenty of dishes. We were thrilled to find coffee, teabags and sugar in the kitchen, as well as a few cold drinks thoughtfully placed in the refrigerator. My overall impression of the Seawind Studio apartment was that it had the feel of a luxury suite and we looked forward to returning to it after each day of adventures. The hospitality, kindness and assistance we received from the owner Petronia was exceptional and made our stay excellent. I would highly recommend this apartment! Great experience!!

A home away from home.

I don't think words can express the welcome I received from Petronia. It is something you have to experience yourself. She certainly went above and beyond what I expected. The apartment is exceptional. Clean, updated and super comfortable you might feel like just vegging inside but make sure you have a walk around the property as there are lots of beautiful orchids on which to feast your eyes. There is access to the club conveniently located across the street where you can enjoy the beach and grab a bite which is great as you might just want to spend the day relaxing there. I would not hesitate to stay there again and would certainly recommend Seawind Studio as it is certainly my first choice. Petronia in my opinion is a SUPER-HOST! I cannot thank you enough for all you did for me. I made a new friend.

Great place to relax between the bay and the beach!

My boyfriend and I wanted a place to really sit back, relax, and take in the sun and views. This place was exactly what we were looking for. Situated in the tranquil neighborhood, with the beach club across the street, the yatch club in the front yard, and a residential pool in between, we enjoyed everyday at this studio. Cozy, clean, and had everything we needed to have a comfortable vacation. We will definitely be visiting again. Petronia, the landlord was very nice and made sure we were happy during our stay. Five stars!
