Come enjoy this lakefront home with beautiful views of Lake Zoar.

Indoors features 3 sleeping areas with a queen bed, full bed, and king bed, 2 full baths, open concept living/dining room with fireplace. The master suite is on the lower level, offering the same beautiful view, and its own living room area

Outdoors, you will find plenty of seating, a propane grill and firepit, and a hot tub. There are kayaks and floats available to renters.

Come enjoy the fabulous sunsets Lake Zoar has to offer. Close to shopping and hiking trails.

*Off-street parking above for 2-3 cars with stairs to house. Multiple stairs to get from parking to house. Public boat launch close by. No smoking on premises.

We had a great time and the house was spacious and welcoming. The location was perfect for getting to a wedding in Monroe, and being on the water was so fun! Use of the kayaks and the hot tub were huge bonuses as well!

I just spent a weekend with 5 other women for a girls weekend and it was way more than I even thought! The house was absolutely spotless, so clean! Tons of extra towels, coffee, and just everything you could need! The hot tub was so nice, the view was perfect. It was a nice quiet spot on the lake. Would 100% go back!

Everything was lovely! Sadly the water by the dock was not conducive to swimming because of so much vegetation growing all around. House was super comfortable and well appointed, great beds and pillows!

Holiday Getaway

This house is in a well-located area, easily accessible via I-84 and close to Danbury. It’s a lovely home right off the Housatonic River. It was very clean and Kim was very communicative throughout the whole stay. We really enjoyed our time here!

The view was beautiful and the house was clean. Neighborhood was quiet and we had a very relaxing stay. Hot tub was very relaxing and we had a wonderful time. Did not know there was 75 steps to reach property. One family member was elderly and another has a disability, the stairs were difficult.

Waterfront oasis

What a beautiful property! Just wanted we needed for our stay. The outdoor decking seemed very new and was great to hang out on despite the cold weather- the hot tub helped with that! Inside was clean, comfortable and welcoming. There was plenty of room for my family plus my two siblings.

Cousin weekend away

We had a wonderful time lakeside for a long weekend! Great table for eating and playing games together all weekend. Hot tub was a great time as well! It snowed and was a beautiful site. Kim was great in letting us know plans for shoveling/plowing and allowed us to take our time as needed. Hope to return in the warmer weather to experience the benefits of the lake.

Birthday weekend with friends

BEAUTIFUL property. Had such a fun weekend with friends-hanging outside with the fire pit and hot tub, laying next to the lake made for such a relaxing time. Views of the lake inside were also incredible! Lots of towels and blankets available, washing machine and dryer were awesome to have! We were surprised by how many stairs leading down to the property and how narrow and tricky the spiral staircase to get downstairs was. Kitchen dishes were cracked and some were dirty, just had to wash before using. Overall, would stay again. Really enjoyed our time!

A week stay

Nice house and peaceful location on the lake. Host was very responsive and helpful. Had a storm come in the week prior so couldn’t use a few of the amenities but that wasn’t an issue as we were there for work and no fault of the host. I would mention the limited parking area. Maybe two cars total. I had my truck and a small 12 ft trailer and it hardly fit. Again no issue just letting others know.

My husband and I and our two adult sons rented this lake house for a short stay-cation and had a wonderful time! The home was clean, comfortable, and well stocked with everything we could have needed. There were plenty of towels, cleaning supplies, coffee, spices, bug spray, and even fun extras like kayaks, a paddleboard, tubes, and beach chairs. We brought our boat and had a great time enjoying the lake, even hosting friends for a beautiful day on the water. The hot tub was the perfect way to end the evenings.The neighborhood is quiet and convenient, with grocery stores and restaurants just a short drive away. Parking is tight and the stairs (both the outdoor staircase down to the house and the spiral staircase inside) can be a challenge, especially for older guests, but it’s very manageable if you plan ahead - just pack light and avoid hauling heavy suitcases or coolers.Overall, this house was perfect for our family getaway and we’d be happy to return!

Great Getaway Weekend!

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at The Lake House and absolutely look forward to returning!It's a great house, right on the water, that had everything we needed and then some. Gorgeous views, a nice deck, (with hot tub), multiple TVs, two bathrooms, washer & dryer, and a fully equipped kitchen, including a Keurig! The stairs are no joke, inside and out, but well worth it! Just take the spiral stairs slow the first couple times and you'll be a pro in no time. The R&R was exactly what we needed, even in the winter. We can't wait to return when it's warm out so we can take advantage of the outdoors.Kim was great with a quick response to a question during the booking process, which was nice and easy. I'd 10 out of 10 recommend!

Nice house, great view!

My husband, daughter and myself stayed at the house for a couple nights. The house was spacious, clean, had comfortable beds and was right on the lake. We loved that! Unfortunately, we arrived in the dark and the roads were a little tricky at night for our first time driving it. I know by the picture that there were some stairs to get to the house. I was thinking maybe 20 but 75? Since my husband has knee issues and I have back issues, it would have been good information to have on the VRBO site. Also, there is a very narrow and steep spiral staircase inside to get downstairs. We had to take our luggage down the outside stairs to get it to the bedroom. We definitely enjoyed our stay here but, because of all the stairs, would not stay again.
