The house was very clean and spacious. The host met us as we drove in and was very friendly. She also brought us fresh fruit, jams and olive oil. She was very responsive, when we had questions and she spoke wonderful English (so that was nice). It was also very nice to have laundry facilities.The yard was beautiful as was the house. We had breakfast on the porch every morning. We were very close to Napflio, so the location was convenient. The only thing that was slightly a problem for me is I’m fairly certain there had been cats in the house and I am pretty allergic…I could feel it in my lungs. However, I noticed the property is listed as “pet friendly”, and I should have noticed. Also, as Americans, we are less use to the sensitive plumbing and not be able to flush our toilet paper, but that wasn’t a big problem. Overall, we had an absolutely wonderful experience and would definitely recommend this house!

Das Haus war groß genug für eine Gruppe, sauber und hatte alles, was wir brauchten. Die Gastgeberin war sehr freundlich und nett.Für uns zum entspannen war es ideal. Wir können es sehr empfehlen.

Wonderful country house, as advertised!

We stayed in April when the weather was gorgeous and the air around the house was fresh and sweet. That was the first thing we noticed! The location was great, centrally located for easy day trips to famous places, and quick access to restaurants in Nafplio.We would definitely come again!

Restfull place

If you look for rest, calm, nature, proximity but isolation, this country house is waiting for you. We enjoyed breakfast on the sunny terrace surrounded by the trees, the orange tree Flavour and the birds singing. Visiting Nauplie is really easy, the old city is full of choice in terms of restaurant. We loved being there in family..

Great countryside

We really enjoyed every night here. Dania was a great host because she shared a binder of recommendations with us upon check-in and gifted us food from the farm for our last breakfast. It was a 10 minute drive to the center of Nafpoli, which was a nice balance for getting to stay in such a relaxing setting!

Fijne plek voor diverse uitstapjes

Goede en snelle communicatie met Danai, enthousiaste ontvangst. Huis is aan rustige plek, aan landelijke weg en toch dichtbij een minimarkt. Neem wel een fleece trui mee als het nog niet zo ver in het seizoen is, want binnen is het dan ook donker=fris. Fijne veranda om overdag in/uit zon te kunnen zitten. Keuken is wel ietwat spaarzaam ingericht. Geen vaatwasser is OK, maar droogdoek is dan wel handig.

Country Living, Minutes from Nafplio

What a lovely country house backed up by incredible attention from Danai. This secluded little gem has everything you need to relax, cook and live the Peloponnese. It's a great base to explore Nafplio, Epidaurus, Mycenae and Nemea. The house is outfitted well and very comfortable. We can't thank Danai enough for making our holiday week memorable.

nous recommandons vivement cette adresse, la maison est vraiment très agréable, la situation parfaite, et les propriétaires absolument charmants. Ils sont venus à 1h30 du matin nous chercher dans le village pour nous conduire à la propriété, notre bateau avait 7 h de retard et nous étions perdus. Vraiment dévoués à leurs locataires

Wonderful stay

Our family of six enjoyed our recent 4 night stay at this property. It easily accommodated 6 people (in three bedrooms). We were impressed by the layout of the house and especially its cleanliness. The kitchen was well equiped as well. We barbequed fish and steaks one evening, and they provided us with charcoal, utensils, etc. We were worried about the a/c with summer heat, but it worked fine. They provided us with a stroller, a highchair and a crib for our 2 year old, which made our stay much more agreeable. What really made our stay special was the personal attention that Danai gave us, making herself available to all of our inquiries. We enjoyed touring Nafliou and the entire Argolid region and would recommend it to anybody with an interest in fascinating archaeological sites, beautiful beaches and wonderful food.

Wonderful house and very welcoming host

The house is very well located, easy to find, quiet, and not far from Nafplio. The house is well equipped with 2 bathrooms and a kitchen with all the necessary tools. The kids enjoyed the big garden and the hammock. What makes this place special is that the host grew up in Nafplio and knows all the places, beaches and restaurants. She was super friendly and helpful. And we got marmalade and cake prepared by her mom, plus a basket full of fresh figs, freshly plucked. Delicious!!!

Quiet, cosy, pastoral setting

Just what we hoped it would be. Took morning jogs, drove all around the Peloponnese, the owner's father brought figs and eggs which were much appreciated and added considerably to our feeling of being at home. The grounds were amazing with so many types of fruit trees in such a small ares. The patio added to our enjoyment and the owner was very helpful.

Comfortable and Peaceful Country House

The deep veranda on the front was just right for relaxing after a day out and about and we had all our meals on this veranda. The great discovery was the purpose built BBQ area with charcoal which we put to use for a memorable evening cooking as the sun went down accompanied by evening birdsong. The quiet Greek roads mean you can use this as a base for exploring sites quite far away. We visited Corinth, Mycenae and Epidaurus from here. Nafplio is a nice contrast to the tranquility of the villa, a lively town with many bars and restaurants. We would certainly stay in this villa again. Sue and Richard.

Tolles Landhaus zum Wohlfühlen

Danai's Landhaus in der Nähe von Nafplio hält was es verspricht: Großzügig und komfortabel eingerichtet, sehr gute Lage zu allen Sehenswürdigkeiten des Argolis, eine sehr aufmerksame Besitzerin, die sich um Gäste und deren Wohlbefinden hervorragend kümmert. Loved it!

The country house is a lovely property and Danai was an exceptional host. It’s located ten minutes from Nafplio, which an amazing town with tavernas and excellent shopping, but we loved returning to the peace and solitude of the country. The home was clean, beautifully decorated, and we loved picking lemons and berries from the yard. It’s within close proximity to local beaches (Tolo was our favorite) and a half hour drive to the ancient sites of Epivadros and Mycenae which should not be missed. We hope to return someday!

Wir waren schon in vielen schönen südeuropäischen Häusern im Frühjahr. Dieses war das beste. Es verfügt über eine effiziente, leicht zu bedienende Zentralheizung und großzügig geschnittene, gemütlich eingerichtete Räume. Alles wirkt gepflegt und sauber. In der Umgebung bellen ab und an ein paar Hunde, ansonsten ist sie idyllisch mit Orangen- und Zitronenbäumen, dazu Hühner, Wildblumen, Ruhe. Danai ist eine wunderbare Gastgeberin, sie war immer ansprechbar und hilfsbereit, die Materialien zur Umgebung sind vorbildlich aufbereitet. Zwar fehlt noch der eine oder andere Sonnenstuhl (oder mal ein Messer oder ein Becher), aber das sind angesichts der insgesamt traumhaften Verhältnisse Marginalien. Die Lage zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten der Argolis könnte nicht besser sein. Wer eine Villa auf dem Lande zu schätzen weiß (und eine sehr gut Englisch sprechende Gastgeberin), der ist hier genau richtig.

Un grand bol d'air

Séjour très agréable dans une maison à la campagne neuve et parfaitement structurée . L' accueil de la propriétaire est très chaleureux et les conseils parfaits, merci encore pour votre prévenance. La location se situe à proximité de sites remarquables et dans une zone très agréable du Peloponnèse. La maison est un havre de paix dans un jardin verdoyant et est parfaitement adaptée à un séjour en famille. Nous vous recommandons cette adresse.

Welcome to our home! My name is Danai and I am native Greek. I grew up in the beautiful city of Nafplio and I have lived for many years in Athens. I love traveling, I have lived in many countries abroad like Spain and Indonesia and meeting new people from several countries and cultures is something that fascinates me. My first thought when we created these independent fully equipped houses, was to create a small paradise where people would feel like home with all privacy and relaxation they need in the countryside but at the meantime help them enjoy their stay and make it as unique as possible, with wonderful suggestions of activities in our area. I will make sure that you feel comfortable and have a wonderful stay! If you have any question, do not hesitate to ask me.

Our Country Houses were created in an effort to bring visitors close to nature, inspired by the small cottages which were built near the village peasants in their fields.Here, you can enjoy a peaceful stay in a beautiful countryside environment surrounded by olive and orange trees and at the same time be very close to the city of Nafplio.It is a place ideal for children, as we have a little farm with chickens, rabbits and turkeys which they can feed and play. Also, ideal for pets which can run around the private garden of each house.Depending on the season, our guests can enjoy free fruits and vegetables from our garden and eggs from our chickens.Each house has a fully equipped kitchen where all necessary is available for free (salt, pepper, coffee, sugar, tea).As part of the countryside experience, you can also enjoy homemade jams, cakes and cookies. Our houses can be used as basis in order to visit all important archaeological monuments of our area and at the meantime we can provide you with some extra tips for super unique experiences which will make your stay unforgettable.Cleanliness and comfort in sleeping are our top priorities so we make sure to take care of that during your whole stay.

-Cleanliness is our top priority. For the cleaning of the house we use products suggested by WHO (World Health Organization) for all parts of the house and the linen and towels are cleaned by professional laundry in high temperature and with top quality products.
-Quality sleep with high quality mattresses. The house is comfortable, spacious, fully equipped with all necessary. We provide cotton bed linen and towels for a great sleeping experience.
