Perfect Location

We stayed here for a work trip and it was the perfect location and perfect space. Tons of room for everyone and each bedroom having their own bathroom was ideal. Communication was timely with the hosts and we never had an issue the entire stay. Would definitely stay here again.

Family getaway

The house was beautiful. A little short on silverware and cutting boards were dirty but they immediately sent us new fresh replacements and the house was otherwise immaculate.

Great Stay

We throughly enjoyed our time at this property. Being able to walk to great food and shops is a major plus. We had great communication with the property management company, and they made sure everything went well for us. Being on right on the beach added to the reason we picked this property. We hope to be back in the future.

Bi-annual Family Trip

The location of the home is great. The 51 steps from the beach is daunting when returning with beach gear. The home is in need of repairs. Torn cushions for example. But the number of guestrooms and baths were ideal. Site says it has everything you need for a TG dinner, not true. Reps were responsive to needs. No central ac was a problem on 80+ degrees days. Overall a decent house given the location. meal. Not true. Reps eere

Family Celebration

Great location right on the beach. Perfect sunsets. Good gathering spaces. Well appointed kitchen. Comfortable beds. Could use better shades for deck facing bedrooms and more closet space in the bedrooms. But a great space. We all had a wonderful time.

Excellent Location, beautiful home!

We rented this home with two other families and thoroughly enjoyed our time in Carlsbad. The home is very centrally located, walking distance to many shops and restaurants. The beach front location is beautiful! The kitchen was well stocked for cooking for 16 people. Having three washer/dryers was very helpful as well. My only recommendation would be that beach chairs, umbrellas and sand toys also be included.

Let's go to the BEEECH!

We had a wonderful family reunion week at this incredible beach house. The house met all our needs because we cooked in, walked for coffee, had a lot of beach time playing volleyball, baseball, spike ball and lots of time in the water. Since our family goes various places every 2 years, this was voted the best ever! The only challenge was lots of steps to the beach. Not recommended for weak knees!

Great location

We really enjoyed this stay. All the bedrooms and bathrooms made it so comfortable. The biggest issue was the windows were very dirty. Normally not a huge problem but you are paying for the view of the ocean. Also had issues with entry codes when we first got there but a few calls resolved the issue.

Family Reunion

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family of 26 thoroughly enjoyed our week @ this spacious property. It was very clean and up to date. The views are awesome and the fire pit on the top patio was especially nice for the cool evenings. Being right ON THE BEACH was great for families who needed to keep an eye on the little ones. Games of volleyball, beach baseball and spikeball were enjoyed by the adult children. The only caution for future renters is the number of steps to the beach from the house. Weak knees can find them a challenge.

Thanksgiving in Carlsbad

Great location on a wonderful beach. House is worn down a bit, but overall has what you need to have a great time. The listing is not very easy to follow, know that you are in a multi-unit complex and share a gate, stairs, etc. with other tenants. The patios are partitioned off per unit, but it's a bit of an awkward set up with others so close to you. We're used to more privacy at this price point, so it's something to be aware of. Also, the house is a complete management booking property - not a single beach toy, let alone chairs, umbrellas, etc. We much prefer to not have to schlep our stuff from home. Overall a good stay but not for those looking for complete privacy.

Amazing Beach House

There were 11 of us that stayed here and we definitely could have fit a lot more of us. We loved the kitchen, dining room and family room set up. The views were amazing from everywhere in the house and from both decks. That corner bed in the family room provided an excellent spot to watch the dolphins in the mornings. The beds were super comfortable and it was especially nice having a full bathroom in each bedroom. We loved having our own access to the beach and having our own hot tub. This house has a lot of extras too…the large dining room tables, comfy furniture, the two-car garage along with the extra fridge/freezer. It was great being so close to Carlsbad Village and so many other shops and restaurants. Sub Zero ice cream, Norte and Board and Brew were three of our favorite spots. We loved everything about this house and hope we are lucky enough to rent it again sometime.

WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE OF CARLSBAD VILLAGE, ALL OF US LOVED THAT EACH OF THE BEDROOMS HAD THEIR OWN BATHROOMS, BEDS COMFORTABLE. THE ONLY ISSUES FOR SOME OF US WERE THE MANY STEPS TO THE BEACH AND THE MAIN LIVING AREA GOT A LITTLE CRAMPED WITH EVERYONE PRESENT BUT EVEN THEN EVERYONE FOUND ROOM, OTHERWISE ENJOYED OUR MINI FAMILY REUNION. THE KITCHEN WAS GOOD FOR 3-4 OF US TO WORK IN TOGETHER GETTING MEALS READY, THE VIEW WAS BEAUTIFUL. WE LOVE BEACHFRONT YOU CHECK-IN CHECK-OUT NOT A LIST OF THINGS YOU NEED TO DO BEFORE LEAVING LOVE IT PLUS THEY ARE WONDERFUL TO WORK WITH WE HAVE BEEN USING THEM FOR YEARS COMPARED TO OTHERS THEY CANNOT BE BEAT. WE WILL BE RENTING THIS HOME AGAIN FOR OUR FAMILY, IT IS THE PERFECT LOCATION AND ROOM FOR ALL OF US....THANK YOU FOR A WONDERFUL STAY.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family rented this house for 6 nights from January 1-7. We couldn't stop talking about how wonderful this house was! Everyone had their own bathrooms, the ocean view was amazing (with views of pelicans skimming the water and dolphins frolicking), and the proximity to shopping in Carlsbad. We loved being able to go down the stairs and walk on the beach. Not to mention the proximity and ease of getting to other locations like Oceanside, La Jolla, Torrey Pines, and San Diego! We were all reluctant to leave our house by the ocean. Anytime I emailed a question, Nanci responded promptly. This included a call to management at 7:20am due to an alarm going off in the downstairs unit. To my surprise, someone answered the phone, and within 20 minutes someone was at the property to address the issue. Parking was not a problem either for 3 SUVs, 1 car, and 2 motorcycles. The firepit on the top patio was a nice touch. We were so thankful we had a dishwasher, as well as a second refrigerator. My family was so appreciative that I found this house!

Good accommodations, great location

Annual family vacation in San Diego area. This house is in a really convenient location for walking distance to Carlsbad Village and right on the beach with great access. Plenty of accommodations for our group with breeds to spare (there were 11 of us). Was really nice to have individual bathrooms in each bedroom. Would be nice if there was a common bathroom for the downstairs since the only one there is shared with one of the guest rooms Also a little annoying all the light switches are on timers, especially the fans. The longest amount of time you can keep a fan going is 4 hrs. So at 2am the fan shuts off and it starts warming up 🙄. Kitchen was great size, gas appliances, decent sized refrigerator. An add’l fridge in the garage was nice to have as well. Used the grill once, but even with the burners all the way on it wouldn’t get above 350 F. So may need a little attention. The hot tub was nice after swimming in the cool water of the ocean. One of the garage doors was not working correctly and the management company was contacted. They were very expeditious about getting the door repaired with no inconvenience to our party. 👍🏼 All in all everyone really enjoyed their week long stay at the property. I would recommend if you’re looking for an excellent location and fairly spacious property.

Breathtaking View/Excellent Customer Service

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We rented this unit for a “cousin’s weekend” on the beach in Carlsbad. I had rented this house previously and my family was amazed at the breathtaking view and location. There were a couple of small issues that were taken care of immediately once we contacted the office (the door code did not work after an early arrival was approved and one of the bathroom sinks were clogged and dirty). With 10 cousins and some of their spouses, totaling 18 people, we decided to primarily cook meals at the house. The first night, when we were searching for a large pot to cook soup, we were surprised to find out there were no pots in the unit. We called the office, and within an hour, someone showed up at the door with an assortment of NEW pots. The second night, we contacted the office again to inquire as to if we could purchase a pay per view event. Nancy wasn’t sure how that could be accomplished, but she sent a technician out and he was able to coordinate with the cable company. We were able to enjoy the event that night. We had a wonderful time and all my cousins were so impressed, they were asking for the contact information for this rental. My only apprehension, is the late check-in and early check-out, considering how expensive it is for the rental, but that aside, I would highly recommend this rental and the agency.

A Piece of Heaven for a Week, with Family

Reviewer Comments: Extraordinary, in every way.....our entire family comes together for one week at the beach, which we have been doing with Beachfront since 2006,minus the COVID year of 2020. We loved the huge living space, where we could all join together. We had a "prom" party our second night there, honoring our two grandchildren who graduated this year, without proms. We did get two noise complaints, since we thought the noise ordinance was like Oceanside, where we had always stayed...10 pm. We did quiet and the rest of the week we ate dinners together in that huge living space, and celebrated everyone's birthday one evening. Everyone loved having their own bathroom and sleeping apace....we have a great grandchild who is 1 and the oldest is my husband, who is nearly 79. The gazebo area was heavenly for everyone returning from the beach, to hose off, and get warm. It was an easy trek from there, where we kept all of our beach paraphernalia, to set up our area on the beach for the day. The waves were increasingly larger throughout the week, with the biggest waves, and the warmest water on the last day. Your service is stellar, which is why I am determined to return to one of your properties each year. Starting on day 1 I was on the phone getting all the codes worked out for the front door, the garage and the gazebo gate, which you so lovingly helped me with. Whenever I called, which seemed like a daily occurrence, you lovingly and kindly handled every thing, even bringing me some kitchen scissors. We are all excitedly awaiting our 2022 visit to 702 North Strand in Oceanside. We are sorry to leave this beautiful home, but the 10,000 increase in one year was too hefty for us. Thanks each and every one of you, in the office, in housekeeping, in maintenance for having our stay be absolutely heavenly. And thanks for cleaning the hot tub during the week....what a treat to have a nice clean hot tub for the last two days. Love you all and may you all be richly blessed.

Really nice place for family get together. Great to have private bathrooms fir everyone. Walking distance to so much.

Location above all else

We’ve stayed at this property 2 times in the last 3 years. Since the main reason we stay in Carlsbad is for the beach access and access to local dining and rail to San Diego, this property meets all of those requirements hands down. Being able to listen to the waves hit the beach while drifting off to sleep is a huge plus. There are some downsides, though most of that has to do with age of the property and the infrastructure around that. The salt air has permeated most of the surfaces in the property, so there is a continuous musty smell. The sewer lines are probably a bit on the older side and occasionally when all the units are occupied (there are 2 units in this property, plus possibly an adjacent one) things may not necessarily drain well. There was an ant infestation while we were there. It was apparent it was there before we arrived because there were traps set in some of the rooms. It is a rental, so there’s evidence of use, obviously. But this time it appeared the cleaning wasn’t quite as thorough as it was in the past. There was still obviously dirty floors as well as mirrors that needed attention. But the reality is if the main reason you are staying there is beach access, restaurant access and rail access, this place is perfect.
