In town for a building project

Property was accurate as described.We stayed about a month, and we really enjoyed the stay. Kitchen was well stocked, very large garage even fot my jacked up megacab diesel truck!Jim and Amy were very good with communication, and, treated us with a level of hospitality that truly made us feel at home.I'd love to stay here again.

Guys Golf Trip

The house was a perfect fit for our guys golf trip. Amy and Jim were great to work with and made sure we had everything we needed. I would highly recommend this house to anyone.

Friend Vacation

We were greeted and given a tour of the property. The host had flowers and a big cookie for us. The house was a wonderful place for our friend get together. We would definitely stay there again.

Lovely Home

Amy and Jim were incredible hosts. The home is extremely well maintained and is great for a family stay. Tons of games and things to keep the kids well entertained. Conveniently located.

Perfect Gathering Place

Stayed a few nights with family for daughter's wedding. Upon arriving at this beautiful home, was greeted with flowers and sweet treats. Exceptionally clean, exceptionally well-stocked, with all of the touches of home. When called, hosts were quick to respond and always professional and welcoming. Easy check-in and -out. Would absolutely recommend!

surprise extended family gathering

We booked a long weekend here for a surprise family reunion / birthday celebration. It was the perfect space to visit with family we hadn't been with in several years. The well stocked kitchen was perfect for feeding everyone and the back deck seemed to be the place everyone gravitated to for late night reminiscing. Great memories were made here on Macarthur Drive! Many thanks to Amy and Jim for their hospitality.

Beware of these hosts

I would not recommend this host. Our visit started well. The property was nice, except for water in a portion of the basement that caused an offensive odor by the last day of our stay, which made the basement unusable for some in our group. Our biggest concern was the way we were treated by the host. We did damage to their garage door, in that we parked our van, and unbeknown to my son, the hatch was open because of an item blocking it. When he raised the garage door it wedged our van hatch in to the door and caused damage. We notified the host and they at first handled it well, saying hopefully it was something that could be easily and inexpensively repaired. But, they returned with an estimate of over 1100 dollars. We asked them to check to see if a less expensive repair was possible, as my son said if he had his tools with him, he felt he could have repaired it. They turned nasty at our request. We ended up paying the full price. They also said we were liars at how the door had been damaged, claiming we ran in to the door, We had only minor scratches on the hatch bottom. This was the first of three times they called us liars. They also said that we were lying about the smell in the basement, which, we did not even ask for compensation for. Then they said we damaged a rocking chair. This chair was simply moved from one room to another and never used. We saw no damage when we moved it. Host was nasty in texts. Space does not permit other complaints.

Wonderful for families with a great location!!

We rented this home for 4 couples, and 2 families to stay in while in town for a family reunion, and it was perfect! There was enough room for 4 adult couples, with plenty of space for the 5 small kids as well! The house was extremely clean and we had everything we needed as soon as we arrived. The playhouse and trampoline in the backyard were so much fun for the kids, and the adults loved the beautiful deck and view. Amy left us lots of suggestions for different things to do, and was available for any question I had. The location was great for us to get downtown, or out to the suburbs. I would absolutely recommend this beautiful house for any family!!!

Fantastic Home away from Home

From the moment we walked in to get our tour you got the feeling that you were guests in a wonderful home. Greeted with a bottle of wine we were shown the house which is very nicely laid out, decorated, and comfortable. We had everything that we needed and Amy was always available with the few questions that we had. We helped with some watering of flowers, putting out the trash, and literally felt like we were family. Amy has some amazing quotes in every room and her love of her kids and life shows through. I recommend this property HIGHLY but if Omaha gets the trials again in 2020 and Amy will have us, I will be renting it again. Steven Hasty
