The building was constructed in 1952 as housing for cannery workers, built with solid concrete and heated floors from an era when materials and workmanship were made to last.
The building is well managed, well maintained, and home to a diverse friendly community of long-term residents.
The central location provides easy access to everything Southeast Alaska has to offer and is within walking distance to hiking trails, Safeway, restaurants, the hospital, and downtown Ketchikan.
