Wonderful house!

This was a beautiful house! It was the first time my family rented a home. It was also the first time we all vacationed together. Everyone loved the house.

Clean and spacious

Beautiful home. Plenty of room for the eleven of us. Pool was awesome! The kids really enjoyed that. The game room was not quite as pictured, there was no air hockey table and no skeeball. The kids still enjoyed it though. The bed in the downstairs primary bedroom was too firm for me and required me to buy a mattress pad. There were some signs of some rough use but that's to be expected in such a large home. Overall, a very nice place to stay. Also close to all the amusement parks.

Choose Another Property

We’ve stayed in Windsor at Westside for the past four years and have had a great experience with all other property management companies except this one, Florida Vacation Homes. This is a great house for a large group but inattentive management. We did not have AC in the upstairs unit the entirety of our stay despite reporting it immediately. Once it was determined there would be no AC for the foreseeable future by the HVAC company the management team went radio silent. It was 77-80 degrees upstairs the entire stay. Their answer was “sometimes things break.” My concern and what I want to warn other buyers is that should have been checked out and maintained before our stay. Compared to no AC this seems silly but there was not a coffee maker so we had to ask for one. There were two coffee makers with no carafe. Why was that not seen by the crew and corrected before the next people came in? Just really shabby and I encourage you to move on to another property.

Horrible customer service

The thermostat was not working when we got there. Called and were told we would be put on a list (we had a 6 month old and the house was 50 degrees). After further checking the thermostat needed new batteries (as well as almost every remote in the house). Also had multiple rooms with burnt out light bulbs. Ran to the store and bought light bulbs and batteries to fix everything - how is this missed on maintenance checks. Paid extra for heated pool and hot tub to be informed that the pool and hot tub would only be heated if the temps went above 55 degrees. Then were told by 2 pool maintenance people that the heating of the individual house pools and hot tubs were controlled via wifi by the rental service. In 7 days we were able to use the pool/hot tub for 3 days. Left a car seat base on the front porch by accident (a large car seat base). Called immediately and have been passed from department to department. Now 3 days later we realize we probably aren't getting that back. Liked the house and the neighborhood, however customer service is horrible.

Not impressed

When we first arrived the entry way and kitchen/dining space looked nice. As we walked the house and got people situated, we were less than impressed. There was a significant stain in the master on main floor as well as stains throughout - carpeted areas looked dirty and one spot had a hard dark piece of something stuck to the carpet in an upstairs bedroom. The wi-fi was almost non- existent with a max of 5 mbps so kids could not get logged into school websites, couldn’t get into email and only one smart tv could be operated at a time. We were told it was because it was a vacation home and complimentary- oddly there was a smart tv in every room but pointless. The pool heat took days before we could tell a difference and management suggested we let Spa run for a few hours then stop to pour over into pool to help with the heat - an inconvenience to say the least when we paid to have it heated for our entire duration. Then the spa didn’t work and took several days for maintenance to come check on it and fix it. Before our arrival we had great timely responses but seems as though once we arrived the customer service had fallen short. I will say the amount of space available was great for a large party. However, given our experience with this location and management company, we would not choose to stay again.

when we take the our adult children and grand children this is the second time to this resort .

This is a great resort, with all the perks. We returned here because it is a great place to stay.

Plenty of space

This was a good home and location for our Disney trip with family. The pool and play room and community facilities are nice. The interior of home is not updated so not as pleasant as pictured. A couple of mattresses and pillows could stand to be replaced. We had a few minor issues with the fridge and sink (backing up). Management company came out promptly, but issues still need addressed. Despite this we had a wonderful stay and are happy with this booking at its price point.
