Lakefront Cabin - Elevated Design and Breathtaking Views

Book this stunning, modern 3-bedroom cabin on Lake Tuscaloosa, perfect for a reading retreat, couples getaway, big family trip, parent weekend, or game day. With two sets of bunkbeds and stocked with baby gear, it’s perfect for large groups and families. It’s just under 30 minutes from downtown and campus and perched over a serene part of the lake. You may spot a boat or two, and are likely to spot a deer through the bedroom window or from the deck.

Sleeps 12 in beds.

Open kitchen and living room with access to large covered deck all with breathtaking water views. This open living area has lots of seating and is the perfect place to hang out together! Smart TV in the living room. Grab a book and enjoy the wood burning fireplace in living room! Kitchen is fully equipped and stocked with cooking essentials and coffee.

Main level master bedroom has private full bath and views of the lake, smart TV, and queen bed.

Upstairs, one bedroom has beautiful wood views, one queen bed and one full bed, and private half bath.

Second bedroom upstairs is a fantastic bunk room for kids or grownups. With stunning lake views, this room has one full bed, two sets of twin bunk beds, a futon, and plenty of room for play!

Full laundry (washer and dryer, stocked with laundry detergent) on main level next to kitchen. House is equipped with baby gear, such as gates, a travel crib, monitor, booster seat and sippy cups. Kids will find a closet upstairs stocked with toys. A travel crib is available.

A downstairs patio leads to a private dock for swimming and kayaking if it’s warm enough!

The cabin is equipped with smoke detectors, carbon monoxide detector, first aid kit, and LifeVac.

This cabin is even cooler and more beautiful in person, the pictures don’t do it justice! The view in incredible, every room in the house is very spacious and comfortable, and it’s definitely the most family-friendly place we’ve ever stayed with our kids. Definitely recommend!

Yes so clean and impressively put together kitchen, had everything we needed and more. Even had some spices, coffee, and groceries to add to our cooking. It was so wonderful. So clean and the cabin was huge. We were able to go out on the water and the dock was wonderful. The host was incredible with communication too. We are definitely coming back!

What a unique opportunity. We felt like we were in a really remote area. There was only one vacant small cabin near us. It was private but close enough to local food and restaurants to drive to dinner. The cabin was extremely well appointed. The morning of departure i found the eclectic music collection on site and enjoyed listening to Beethoven with my morning coffee and later a little Eric Clapton. What a great trip! We were able to grill steaks there and in more inclimate weather would have loved to kayak.

Great Property!

Beautiful property! We really loved the view here. The house was clean and had everything we needed. The drive to The University of Alabama was not too far and no traffic for game day. The host was very responsive to all questions during our stay and answered right away. I loved that they reached out for feedback and were willing to help when we had questions.

Comfortable Home with Breathtaking Views

Kay and Joseph have done a class act job in sharing their beautiful lake-front cabin with weary travelers. The location was peaceful and secluded. We arrived late at night but found the directions and instructions detailed and clear. They responded promptly to my message and kindly offered to leave out certain items they thought we might need because they knew we were traveling with small children. When we arrived, we found a personal note from them welcoming us to their home and a detailed check in guide with a well-written history of their property. Our kids thoroughly enjoyed the toys they had left out to play with. The beds were clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well-equipped. The bathrooms were immaculate with fresh soap, shampoo, and towels. The architecture and design featured clean lines with beautiful natural wood and big open windows everywhere. We arrived in the darkness so we couldn't fully appreciate the breath-taking views of the surrounding woods and lake until morning. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and this was one of the highlights of our Thanksgiving trip. Thank you, Kay and Joseph, for all the thought and kind intention you put into sharing your beautiful, cozy home with us. You have exceeded our expectations in every way. We hope to return someday for a longer stay. JHT
