Firehouse 1918 is located in historic downtown Gainesville, within walking distance to restaurants, boutiques and nightlife and is just across the Red River from Winstar World Casino. The Bell Tower Loft is one of two executive apartments located upstairs above an intimate event venue. This historic fire station has been masterfully transformed and includes actual artifacts which provide a one-of-a-kind glimpse into the history of the Gainesville Fire Department.

Fabulous Stay

If you love history and unique stays then this is the place! Lots of historical artifacts about the fire station and a surprising little reading nook at the top with sights of downtown. Clean and overall amazing.

Unique and Lovely!

The firehouse commemoration style makes this VRBO more than just a place to sleep for the night. We spent time reading and admiring the stories and art posted around the property. We really enjoyed our time at this very spacious, clean and comfortable VRBO.

Beautiful remodel on a fantastic property

The Bell Tower Loft was amazing. The remodel is excellent. The interior design is perfect. It's quite and plenty big enough that with some groceries I'd come back and not leave the property. But there are great restaurants within walking distance in the downtown area there. Just adorable. Loved it.

Wonderful Stay!

My husband, myself and mother in law came in town for a wedding. The location of the property was great, close to everything we needed, plenty of room and was very clean. The listing is accurate and everything was as it stated. There were plenty of towels and supplies. The Fireman theme was so cute, as my husband is a firefighter/paramedic and we could appreciate all of the history, antiques and photos, etc that were there. The communication was very quick and any request was taken care of. Would definitely stay here again if in the area.

Unique, Creative and Clean Hostoric Lofts!!

This weekend we rented both the Bell Tower and Caboose lofts as we traveled from Florida back to our hometown of Gainesville for a family wedding. Our family all loved the trendy and creative decor. The unique and clever touches of the historic fire station were woven throughout the exceptionally clean and well- appointed lofts. We had everything we needed from the coffee station to the comfy beds and trendy linens. Whether you are planning a visit to the casino or just a fun weekend staycation or getaway, do not hesitate to book these lofts for an amazing experience!!
