My friend from Alma College and I stayed here for Homecoming weekend. It was perfectly located, and very clean and comfortable. The Shepherd Bar across the street has great, reasonably priced food. I highly recommend.

We (five life-long friends) had a wonderful stay at your rental. The location was great for a short casino trip and dinner right across the street at Shepherd Bar. After dinner we enjoyed playing cards and games in the comfortable apartment. The space was great and we plan to be back and include a trip to the spa below. Thank you!

Nice apartment

My friends and I were here to see a concert at the casino. It is only a 15 minute drive. The apartment itself was clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay again.

I had a lovely stay in this second floor apartment in Shepherd! In terms of location it was ideal - although it is on a main street, the town is very quiet (even on Memorial Day weekend when I visited) so that we had no road noise to keep us awake at night. And having the Shepherd Tavern directly across the street allowed for convenient dining. You do need to be aware that the stairs to access the apartment are steep, but if you are without mobility issues then it’s no problem. I am a lover of antiques and the furnishings had a lot of character, but at the same time the bathroom looked nicely updated and the small kitchen included coffee makers and a microwave. And most important to my enjoyment of any rental are the thoughtful amenities that were available including plenty of towels, soaps & shampoos, tissues, bottled water, snacks, magazines, puzzle books, coffee creamer & sugar, paper towels, and lots of cozy throw blankets. I have stayed in so many places that are absolutely bare bones, but this rental felt like home!

Apartment was beautiful, comfortable and spacious. A short 12 minute drive to CMU. Nancy was very responsive and great to work with!

We had such a great time! The property was great. I loved all the antiques and dark wood around the apartment. The bedrooms are great size and beds very comfy. All of the little surprises were wonderful too! Thank you for the snacks, waters, toiletries in the bathroom. These were a pleasant surprise. We will have to come back again with the kids! The park next door looks very nice. We enjoyed the bar being across the street too. Thanks for everything!!!

Wedding weekend

Our stay here was perfect! The Inn was used for me and my boys to get ready for his wedding . The atmosphere and style of the Inn from the owner, Ms.Nancy , to all of the hidden gems INSIDE! I can’t wait to return and share with friends !! Bed was very cozy ! It was a last min emergency find for a very special day? Gave much more meaning to the day !
