New listing! Casa de Carrabelle is a 2BR/2BA home located in Lanark, surrounded by sand oaks and pines, over looking the bay. Enjoy fishing from your very own, private dock or bring your own boat and leave it moored! The public boat ramp is less than a mile away. The home is adorned in coastal decor and has popular amenities such as a swing below the house for sunset watching, a wine cooler, & charcoal BBQ grill. The kitchen is fully stocked including a coffee maker, coffee cups, wine glasses, dishwasher, everyday dishes or a fancier set if you wish. Both bedrooms feature a queen size bed and balcony access. The master has an en-suite bathroom with walk-in-shower. The second bathroom features a tub/shower combo. There is also a full size air mattress for extra sleeping space. The screened in center deck has a ceiling fan and seating for relaxing, as well as access to both side decks. This home is pet friendly, with a 2 pet max. and a non-refundable $100 pet fee. Pets must be approved by owner.

Places to visit in the surrounding area include: Tate's Hell Nature Trail, the Historic Carrabelle Lighthouse and Museum, Camp Gordon Johnston World War II Museum, Dog Island Ferry excursions, charter fishing, kayaking, cycling paths, guided boat tours at Wakulla Springs, Panacea's Gulf Specimen Marine Lab (with touch pools for children), Apalachicola National Estuarine Research Reserve, a variety of local seafood eateries and a local supermarket. Close by is the beautiful St. James Bay Golf Course and Resort 370 Acres of Golf Community, Resort Style 18 hole Play golf course designed by Robert Walker. The Famous Crooked River Grill is just 15 minutes away. Located a little over an hour drive from Tallahassee, and only twenty minutes from St. George Island and Apalachicola, this retreat can be tailored to your own adventurous spirit.

This is our second year staying here. Wonderful location The Gulf is lovely from the back screened porch and the dock is nice too. Big rooms and kitchen big too.

Peaceful Vacation

The home is spacious and well furnished. The back porch was heavenly. The winds were cooling coming off the gulf and the view at sunrise and sunset was so peaceful. Thank you for sharing your lovely getaway home !

Great stay with a suggestion

Everything was great except as noted. The double size air mattress was not comfortable and suggest you replace with bed height air mattress. FYI, We noticed the electrical grounding on the ground level column’s clamp is broken.

This is an absolutely beautiful place. The home is perfectly laid out and beautifully decorated. We enjoyed walking out on the dock and sitting there, and the screened in porch is wonderful — nice breezes, gorgeous view of the gulf, and protection from any bugs! We spent many hours there. Well-equipped, comfortable, very clean and very good communication and check-in — everything was excellent!
