Had a great trip. Host was very responsive and let us check out late, as our flight was late afternoon. Even helped arrange airport transfers. Excellent restaurant (Lalola Beach) right across the street. Ubers were very reasonable so we did lots of exploring. Definitely can get by without a car. Security guards at the complex were excellent. The building is right on the Melacon so there is a fair amount of traffic noise by Canadian standards but typical of our past experiences in Mexico. Kilometres of beautiful beaches to walk at Playa Dorado. There are beaches across the street from the building by they had a significant amount of garbage washed up on the sand. There were two grocery stores nearby and it was a lovely 3 km to the historic area and the fort. Also enjoyed the Amber Museum. We did a day trip to experience 27 Waterfalls, which was fun. Anyone planning to do this, try and book for a day no cruise ships are in port. All, in all we had a great week away from the Canadian winter.
