PDX Launching Pad - 2 bedroom house in a close-in, quiet Portland neighborhood.
Our duplex home is in a residential neighborhood - close to St. Vincent’s Hospital and minutes from downtown, the Pearl District, and Portland's old-school Nob Hill. Our location is a perfect launching pad for all that Portland offers: great restaurants, our famous food truck scene, and the Pacific Northwest outdoors.
As vetted Hosts, we've created a space using our knowledge of what travelers look for when booking their next vacation - comfy beds and linens, updated throughout, private working space, and a small backyard with outdoor furniture.
Our rental is in a duplex next door to full-time residents in a quiet residential neighborhood- just a few miles from the city center. Easy access to the mountains or beach - only 90 minutes in either direction.
Recently the home was updated from top to bottom with our future guests in mind. We are set up to provide a great night’s sleep. We have super comfy mattresses, high-count cotton sheets, fluffy down comforters, and pillows. Each bathroom is stocked with thick cotton towels, soaps, and shampoo. Take a long shower or soak in the tub - you have access to both!
Here for work, we have a nice workspace set up in the primary bedroom with task lighting and a large desk. Or you can spread out in the dining room. High-speed internet is available throughout the home.
If you need to do a load of laundry, we have a washer and dryer on site and plenty of soap. A small iron and ironing board are also on-site to freshen up your packed clothes.
Our home is a great place to connect with your local family and feel like part of the community. We are located near Portland's prestigious St Vincent’s Hospital and the home is a perfect place to support a loved one - just a short drive or walk away.
This is not a party house or a place for large gatherings. We are respectful of our full-time residents and have quiet hours in place from 10 pm - 7 am. Ring camera enforced.
Our guests have access to the entire right side of the duplex - no shared space. The home has a small, private backyard through a sliding door in the dining room and primary bedroom.

We are local landlords, who accidentally embarked on the short-term rental business about 9 years ago when we started renting our vacation home in the Columbia Gorge. We love sharing our knowledge of the area with our guests - their families, co-workers, and friends. Shannon grew up in Portland and as a couple, we've been in Portland for 30 years. We love art, food and outdoor activities and are happy to share our personal favorites with our guests.

This neighborhood is a quiet, multi-generational neighborhood of duplexes. Located just off of HQY 26 and 217. Minutes from downtown Portland, premier hospitals (St Vincent's, OHSU, Legacy Emanuel, and Good Sam), and PDX industry (Nike, Intel, Columbia, LAM, etc.). We love that we are also 90 minutes to the Oregon Coast, Mt. Hood, Columbia Gorge, and Willamette Valley.
Public transportation is just a short walk from the home, but a car is advantageous.
Grocery stores and restaurants are nearby.

Modern and recently updated throughout, this home is clean, elegantly furnished, and sophisticated. We created the space with our guests in mind - comfy beds and linens, a deep couch, and an awesome kitchen for the traveler: quality dishes and flatware, a gas range, and a nice collection of cooking tools.
We also stock an ever-changing collection of morning items and snacks for arrival.
