After winding up the road through one of the most affluent regions of Portland you will find this wonderful home nestled in the hills above Northwest Portland and the Pearl District just a mile below. This home is the perfect blend of style, location, and incredible views.



Sitting perched on the hillside this single level home is perfect for small families, business travelers, or two couples exploring Portland and the surrounding region. You will find the bedrooms meticulously appointed with quality and comfort. The open dining and living floor plan opens up on to the enormous deck with sweeping river, region, and mountain views beyond. There are also two full bathrooms to facilitate comfort for each groups stay.



This neighborhood tucked in King's Heights sits next to Forest Park and the 80+ miles of hiking trails throughout. These are not to be missed. Nearby you will find Pittock Mansion, Hoyt Arboretum, The Portland Japanese Garden, and the Oregon Zoo.



PET FRIENDLY: Small Dogs allowed with approval. **There is a $100 pet fee per pet with a maximum of $300 (3 pets). Although we are pet-friendly please note your pet must not be left unattended at the house without you present, even if in a crate/kennel. Failure to adhere to the house rules as it pertains to pets may result in cancellation of the booking with no refund. **

We truly want you to enjoy your time and make some wonderful memories with your group. That being said, this is not a party or gathering house for groups that can't control their noise levels. We have relationships with all of our neighbors who have our direct contact information. Quiet time is 10:00 pm to 8:00 am.If it is loud enough to be heard outside in these conditions, it is too loud for you to remain our guest. This property includes a noise alert monitoring system in order to ensure that neighborhood noise levels are respected. Again, please realize we want every group to enjoy their time, laugh, have fun and make memories. These devices are only to ensure noise levels don't reach a threshold that bothers our neighbors.

Gorgeous views from deck, clean, linens provided, host was very communicative, close to shops, restaurants, grocery. Quiet, beautiful neighborhood, huge library of DVDs, very interesting and large variety of books. Book it, you won't be disappointed.

Honestly, we could have stayed here just for the view! The perspective this home gave us of Portland was incredible and completely different from our previous visits. The house itself was absolutely great—immaculate throughout, featuring an open layout, comfy beds, plenty of closet space, great hot water, and huge TVs.We spent the majority of our time on the huge deck reading, eating, chatting, and bird-watching. It felt like a true private oasis. The location was also incredibly convenient, offering easy access to grocery stores and a trail into Forest Park just a 0.2-mile walk away. We would definitely rent this property again!

Great location with great views. My mom traveled with us so we appreciated the easy to access, single level home, including the walk-in shower. Lots of great restaurants and shopping close by! House was clean and host was very responsive, even working with us on an early check in. Portland is a beautiful city with lots to offer! We are sure to return!

What a wonderful house! Terrific location for the inner west side, convenient to all attractions, incredible view. The house was spotless and very quiet. Our host responded to a question within 10 minutes and the beds were heavenly. I could definitely recommend this house to anyone who wants the true Portland experience.

Great place to hang out with family and chill at the house all day! What stood out for us to most was the balcony and stereo system. I would definitely stay here again. The vibe was very welcoming. Thank you so much for letting us chill at your spot for the weekend!

Perfect quiet getaway

Had the most amazing trip to Portland with my parents for their first visit to Oregon. We loved the cleanliness and views from the home. The quiet neighborhood lined with trees made for a perfect and relaxing vacation. Looking forward to staying here again!

The very large deck had balasters that were not safe as children and our small dog could get through and drop 30 feet below. The decking railing was not anchored properly. It was a beautiful view but the whole deck seemed too slanted to be safe. The outdoor furniture were very dirty. This could be a beautiful and safe place to stay to their repair a few things

This was the lovliest, coziest home. Layout was great and was spotlessly clean. Kitchen was large, which was a nice luxury and was super well stocked. View was amazing, high above the tree tops and Portland and we LOVED the neighborhood...Amazing for walking. Would highly recommend!

The home was located in a beautiful neighborhood overlooking the city. Everything was well stocked in kitchen and bathrooms. The home was clean and fit all our needs. The outdoor deck could use some TLC but I didn’t rate it lower bc it did not negatively affect our stay. The host was super easy to reach via text and very accommodating. Would definitely stay again!

Great Get Away

This is a great, comfortable little house. View is awesome, really nice neighborhood and close to everything in the Alphabet District plus hiking in Forest Park. Everything we needed was in the house, the kitchen was well stocked, bedrooms comfortable. Our family of 5 would be happy to return.

The setting of the house is spectacular. Amazing views from the large deck of Forest Park in the foreground, and Mount St. Helens, Mount Adams and even Mount Ranier in the distance. Plus the sunsets! We were delighted to find an entrance to Forest Park just down the road with hiking trails through lush forest. One day, we hiked from the house through the park to Pittock mansion. The house is well set up with an excellent floor plan, nice furnishings and comfortable beds. Two couples shared the house for a week and it accommodated us nicely. The neighborhood is quiet and filled with lovely homes and gardens. The streets are a bit twisty and you might need GPS to find your way. But that was part of the charm. We felt so lucky to find this house.

Beautiful views

Lovely, charming bungalow. The house is in a fantastic upscale neighborhood and offers wonderful opportunities for walks and even hiking. The views from the spacious balcony that runs the length of the house are jaw-dropping. The only thing that may need consideration is there are no blinds on the large windows facing the street from the kitchen. Otherwise the house is quiet, clean and a perfect location to visit Portland.

This is a very nice and convenient house in a lovely and picturesque neighborhood. Upon arrival we were greeted by the stunning views of three volcanoes (Mt Rainier, Mt St Hellens, and Mt Adams), as well as the Willamette valley and Downtown Portland, from the dining room, living room, master bedroom and the balcony.The amenities in the house are excellent and work well. There is a large screen TV with surround sound system. The house is located 15 min from downtown Portland and 10-15 min from several excellent parks. There many nice grocery stores nearby.We had a lovely stay at this house and recommend it to anyone visiting Portland.
